Academic Merit

The detailed course structure and eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

CBS Group of Institutions  B.Tech Admission

• The aspirants willing to be admitted into this course must have passed the 10+2/HSC examination from any recognized board/ university with a minimum of 50%
• The aspirants must have a combination of Physics and Mathematics as required subjects. Along with the obligatory subjects, the applicants must have any of the following subjects:

1. Chemistry
2. Bio-Technology
3. Computer Science
4. Biology

• For admission through lateral entry, a Diploma in Engineering / Technology course of 3 years or more from an AICTE-approved institution with at least 45% marks or a BSc. A degree of a minimum three-year duration from a recognized university with 50% and Mathematics as a subject is required.
• These courses are selected based on the candidate's performance in the AIEEE Test conducted by CBSE. In contrast, the lateral entry candidates are admitted through merit in their previous qualifying examination.

Admission to the B Tech program is conducted through a dual process:

75% of Seats: These seats are allocated through the Haryana State Counseling Society (HSCS) via the National Informatics Centre (NIC), following the admission policy laid out by the State Government. It means a significant portion of B.Tech seats is filled through a centralized state-level counselling process.

25% of Seats: The remaining 25% of seats are allocated by the Institutional Level Management Committee of the institution. This committee likely manages and oversees the admission process for these seats independently, which may include conducting interviews, considering specific criteria, or following institutional guidelines for admissions.

CBS Group of Institutions  BBA/BCA Admission.

• The institute offers BBA and BCA courses under the undergraduate programs.
• These courses require the candidates to have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45%.
• The applicants are designated based on their presentation in the Institutional level Management committee interview.

CBS Group of Institutions  M.Tech Admission

• For admission into the Postgraduate program in engineering, the candidates shall be considered eligible if they have a B. Tech or a B.E degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50%.
• Along with this, the candidates must also have a nonzero score in GATE. The merit list for selection is prepared on GATE scores.
• The Institutional Level Management Committee allocates 100% of the seats.

CBS Group of Institutions  MBA Admission

Admissions for the MBA program at CBS College will follow a specific process:

Merit-Based Admissions: MBA admissions at CBS College Jhajjar will be conducted through an online counselling process. The basis for admission will be a candidate's highest composite score in any of AIMA's four valid Management Aptitude Tests (MAT).

Institutional Level Admission/Counseling: Additionally, a portion of the admissions will be managed through an institutional-level admission and counselling process following the guidelines provided by the State Admission Committee.

CBS Group of Institutions  MCA Admission

• The candidates must graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50%.
• The MCA candidates must have Computer Science as a subject in either 10+2 or graduation. BCA Students with 45% are also considered eligible for this course.
• The selection for MCA is based on the candidate's OLET scores.
• Here also, 75% of seats of MCA will be allotted through HSCS Counselling, and 25% of seats are reserved for Management quota.
