Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET), Davangere is a self-financing institute started in the academic year 1979 at Davangere in Karnataka, India. The institute is offering UG & PG programs in Engineering, Management Studies, and Computer Application. BIET is affiliated to VTU, Belagavi, for offering programs such as B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, and Ph.D.

The Institute offers a B.Tech program with ten specializations with a total intake of 790 students. The B.Tech program is carried for eight semesters, that is, four full years. The basic eligibility required for admission to the B.Tech program is 10+2, with Mathematics and Physics subjects made compulsory and with any other two issues. The students will be selected for the program based on marks scored in KCET or JEE Main or COMEDK entrance exams and Counseling.

• 45% of the total seats will be admitted through the KCET exam.

BIET, Davangere M.Tech Admissions:

The Institute is offering an M.Tech program with six specializations for a period of four semesters, that is, two years with an intake of 120 students. The basic eligibility required is B.Tech in applicable discipline from any recognized body. The students will be selected for admission based on the GATE or KPGCET exam score, followed by counseling.

The students are offered with Business Administration and Computer Application program at the postgraduate level with an intake of 120 and 30 students, respectively. The MBA program is for a period of two years, where an MCA program is for a period of three years.

Students seeking admission to the MBA program must have graduated in any stream with 50% marks and a valid score in KPGCET or KMAT, or CMAT exam.

Students seeking admission to the MCA program have to graduate in any stream with 50% marks along with Mathematics in 10+2 level and valid score in CMAT or KPGCET or KMAT or GATE or JEE Main exam.
