Established in the Salafi Campus near the Kuttiadi River in Kozhikode, Kerala, A V Abdurahiman Haji Arts and Science College has a rich tradition. It is affiliated with the University of Calicut. It is run by the Meppayur Salafiyyya Association, one of the leading educational organizations of Muslims in the Kozhikode District. Previously, the College was named Meppayur Salafi Arts and Science College. However, In 2006, the College was renamed to its present glory.

A V Abdurahiman Haji College Kerala offers various undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It offers admission to the BA, BBA, B Com, BSc, MA, M Com, and MSc in various disciplines. Besides, it offers innovative training programs to provide the best education possible. The College also conducts research and extension activities. Admission will be based on academic merit, followed by CAP (Centralized Admission Process) conducted by the University of Calicut.

AVAH College aims at imparting quality higher education to its students while providing them with a moral background. Therefore, the College has also introduced a course evaluation scheme with two evaluation methods. Internal marks are compulsory for students, whereas external marks are optional.

Furthermore, the College focuses on extracurricular activities and collaborates with national and international organizations, which helps with students' overall growth. In addition, the College has a Parents-Teacher Association that promotes cooperation between parents and teachers.

The cost of admission to the College varies according to the courses chosen. Students must pay the fees ten days before the beginning of each semester. AV Abdurahiman Haji College Fees Structure for BSc is 60k. Note that late payment of fees will incur a 12% late fee. However, students can apply for an educational loan to cover the costs.

A V Abdurahiman Haji Arts and Science College Admission

A V Abdurahiman Haji College Course Admission to the UG and PG programs will be handled through online Centralized Admission Process counseling (CAP). Candidates must register online by going to the appropriate University of Calicut website to attend counseling. The merit list will be prepared based on the academic marks in the last qualifying exam. Students whose names are listed on the merit will be mandated to participate in counseling.

Note: 50% of the seats are designated for admission via the merit quota (CAP Counselling), and the other 50% are designated for the A V Abdurahiman Haji College management quota.

Students interested in direct admission to A V Abdurahiman Haji College must submit a separate application form, which is available on College's website. The information needed to register is provided on the homepage. Once the students have registered, they should select the program of interest and fill out the profile. Nearly 7 km from Payoli town, AVAHSC is located in Thurayur Panchayath on a picturesque hillock, where tranquility offers a stimulating setting for students' intellectual development. The college campus is extended over 40 acres of land in the town of Meppayur. It has excellent infrastructure, well-established academic departments, and faculty which impart high-quality teaching and learning to its students.

The College has modern infrastructure, spacious classrooms, conference halls, and well-furnished interiors. In addition, the College maintains a well-maintained library. It offers students an environment that is conducive to learning and various facilities.

AVAH College has an auditorium that can accommodate up to 600 students. It has an LCD Projector and elaborate audio arrangements. Other amenities include departmental laboratories, Wi-Fi, a sports complex, canteens, and a health centre for students and staff members.
