Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC IAS 2022 Notification on 02nd February 2022. On the same day, the Sarkari IAS 2022 Exam registration has started. UPSC official notification concludes eligibility criteria, vacancy details and other important details relevant to the IAS Recruitment 2022. The last date to submit the application form is 22nd February 2022. Before applying online, job seekers must ensure all the eligibility requirements. On its official website, UPSC Calendar 2022 is released. The aspiring candidates can check on it by accessing the website. To be eligible for Sarkari IAS Naukri, candidates must undergo three selection rounds: Prelims, Mains, and Personality Test.IAS Prelims Exam 2022 will take place on 5th June 2022. Whereas the IAS Mains Exam 2022 will be conducted on 16th September 2022.

Vacancies of UPSC 2022

According to the latest update given by the UPSC authority, the UPSC 2022 is conducted to fill the major vacancies of approximately 861 positions. The recruitment vacancies of UPSC 2022 is decreased compared to past years and has seen a downfall since 2018.  

Eligibility requirement for UPSC IAS Exam 2022

  • The eligibility criteria for UPSC IAS 2022 includes factors like Nationality, Age criteria, Educational qualification and number of attempts. 
  • Candidates must be Indian citizens to be eligible for UPSC IAS Exam.
  • As their age criteria, it is different for different categories. The minimum age to apply for the IAS exam is 21 years, and the maximum age is 32 years. 
  • Candidates willing to apply for IAS Exam must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline.

How to apply for Sarkari IAS Exam 2022?

At first, candidates must register themselves for IAS Exam before filling out the IAS Exam application form for 2022.

Part-1:

  • Candidates must visit the official website of the UPSC and look for the notification tab and click on it. 
  • There will be an online link for registration, and the candidates must click on it. 
  • They must start filling in the details like DOB, Name, Category, contact details and more to complete the registration process. 
  • After the registration is complete, the confirmation will be given to the candidates by sending an email with login credentials and a username to fill out the application form.  

Part-2:

  • The candidates must start filling in the application form with all the particulars, like exam details, centre, payment details, etc. 
  • By the end, they must attach all the necessary docs, photos and signs of the candidate in a scanned format for their verification. 
  • They must also submit the IAS 2022 Application fee. The application fees for general candidates is INR 100, and there are no fees for female/ and reserved candidates. 
  • Click on 'I Agree' and submit the form.

Note: The candidates are recommended to pay the application fee very much before the last closing date of the application form.

How to check the Sarkari UPSC IAS Results 2022

  • once the results are out, candidates must check the official website to access the final results.
  • After opening the official website of UPSC at www.upsc.gov.in, candidates must scroll down to find the tab of "Final Result."
  • Click on the link given for the final result and enter details like name, roll number etc. 
  • The final result will appear on the screen; candidates must check the details and download the result in PDF format and also take a printout for future purposes.
