University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET Admit Card for November 4 to November 13 Examination which was scheduled to be held in June.
Earlier in phases between September 24 and October 1 UGC NET June 2020 session was held. For entry into the examination centre it is mandatory for candidates to carry UGC NET June 2020 admit card. On the Admit Card the details include candidates name, test timings, address of the exam centre and test centre number. UGC NET is a national level exam conducted for eligibility and is held twice every year. For those merit holders Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is given and qualified candidates are eligible to become Assistant Professor in colleges.
However this year the exam was delayed because of Covid-19 and was held in the month of September. Now on November 4, 5, 11, 12 and 13 the second phase of UGC NET June 2020 will take place. The examination will take place keeping in mind the COVID pandemic and following social distancing protocols.
Also candidates will have to sign an undertaking which states if candidates have come in close contact with someone who was Covid-19 positive or have had any symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 14 days. Candidates directly in the UGC NET official site shall enter the details to view and download their UGC NET June 2020 hall ticket
Steps to Download UGC NET 2020 Admit Card
Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET http://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/webinfo/public/home.aspx
Step 2: At the bottom of main page candidates will find the Download Admit Card UGC NET June 2020 tab link
Step 3: On the new window provide the credentials to login
Step 4: Enter candidate’s application number, security pin and DOB then click on submit
Step 5: Page will be loaded which show the option of Download Admit Card
Step 6: Click on Download Admit Card and admit card will be downloaded
Step 7: Print the UGC NET Admit Card and keep it safe for the examination day
