Tamil Nadu Agriculture University (TNAU) has released the official notification pertaining the extension of counselling schedule. According to the notice, TNAU UG Counselling 2020 has been extended due to the Nivar cyclone effect. The counselling will be conducted between 26th December 2020 to 1st December 2020 via online mode. Previously, the concerned admission authority was planned to conduct TNAU Counselling for general category between from 26th to 28th November 2020, but now it has been extended for three more days. Hence, candidates can register till 1st December 2020.Thereafter, varsity will commence the counselling session for the special reservations from 30th November 2020.
Respective Dean of TNAU, M Kalyanasundaram states that, by considering Tamil Nadu Government Advice, varsity extended the counselling schedule for general category by keeping in the view of student’s circumstances, who belongs to seashore places might face the internet issues while reporting for the counselling session in online mode due to effect Nivar Cyclone in Tamil Nadu.
During the counselling process, candidates required to choose the colleges/course according to their choice of preference. Once the choice filling round is completed, varsity will release the seat allotment result on 2nd December 2020 for general category candidates. TNAU-UG 2020 Seat Allocation is done according to the candidate’s merit rank, choice filling and availability of seats. In additional, TNAU has been introduced the sliding system in counselling process from this year onwards.
Seat allotted candidates require to confirm the seat and must report in-person to the allotted institute in order to complete the document verification process between 7th to 12th December 2020.It is recommended for the candidates to report at the allotted institute with in a specified date & time and must pay the stipulated admission fees to confirm the seat or else it may lead to the cancellation of admission seat.
As per the schedule, TNAU UG Counselling 2020- Seat allotment for round 2 nothing but as for special reservation will be declared on 15th December 2020.Thereafter, seat allotted candidates required to report at allotted institute and must complete the document verification round with in 20th December 2020
