National Institute of Industrial Engineering Cutoff

The National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) is a postgraduate Public Management located in Mumbai and came into existence in 1963. According to the NIRF 2021 ranking, NITIE Mumbai ranked 12th among the top 15 B-Schools. NITIE offers flagship courses PGDIM and PGDISEM, which last two years. Furthermore, NITIE B school annually trains over 2000 professionals in various Industrial Engineering & Management fields through its several week-long Management Development Programs (MDPs) and unit-based programmes (UBPs). Admissions to PGDSM/ PGDISEM at NITIE are based on CAT, GATE, GMAT, GRE cut-off scores, followed by personal interviews. After that, candidates will be shortlisted for admissions through a writing skill exam, research presentation, and personal interview.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) and the Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management (PGDISEM) are both offered by NITIE (PGDISEM) are the popular courses of NITIE. The PGDIM course has 304 seats available, whereas the PGDISEM course has 47.

Candidates must have a BE/ B.Tech degree from a recognized university or equivalent with a 60 percent aggregate in any specialization to be eligible for Admission in NITIE Mumbai. Engineering students in their final year of study are also eligible to apply.
In addition, candidates have to clear the valid national level entrance tests with a good score that must be equal or greater than the NITIE Mumbai Cut off standards.
International students are chosen based on their GMAT scores and their IELTS/ TOEFL scores. They must also have a minimum of 60% in their qualifying degree.
NITIE first preference is the CAT score for offering admission to the Management courses. And, the NITIE CAT Cut off vary each year. Thus, applicants must ensure the cut off of NITIE before applying for admission.
Students who meet the NITIE expected cut-off shall be able to take admission for PGDIM or PGDISM.

National Institute of Industrial Engineering PGDIE, PGDMM & PGDPM Admission

PGDIE, PGDMM, and PGDPM are some of the other Postgraduate diploma courses offered by NITIE. These courses are two years in length. There are 140 seats available in the PGDIE programme, while 44 seats are available in the PGDMM and PGDPM programmes.
Candidates must have a BE/ B.Tech degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent with a 60 percent (50 percent for SC/ ST/ PWD) aggregate.
Engineering students in their final year of study are also eligible to apply. The sponsored candidate must have at least two years of work experience.
The GATE/CAT score is used to screen candidates at NITIE. Shortlisted candidates must attend a GD and PI session at the NITIE Mumbai campus.
