MHT-CET 2020: Re-examination will be held, due to the power outage affected in Mumbai

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra released the official notice regarding the conduction of MHT-CET 2020 re-examination (Maharashtra Combined Entrance Test). Due the disruption occurred during the examination which was held on 12th October 2020 in view of Mumbai Power Outage. Maharashtra CET Cell decided to conduct re-exam for the PCM Category who were supposed to appear for MHT-CET 2020 in second shift and also for the candidates who faced technical issues in first shift during the examination due to power outage.

Concerned admission authority have also stated “due to the power outage affected in Mumbai region, western & central railway train services have been effected. As the result, majority of candidates were not being able to reach their exam centres with in an appropriate time.

Authority further added “due to Mumbai power outage around 10 am, five exam centres in Mumbai region faced disruption in the first session of entrance exam. Hence, candidates who appeared for entrance exam at five centres can take up re-examination by requesting.

As per the official notice declared by Maharashtra CET cell, candidates who missed the MHT-CET entrance exam, for such candidate’s entrance examination will be conducted before 20th October 2020 and candidates who faced the technical issues due to power outage are advised to submit the requests for the respective authority

Candidates who were supposed to appear for MHT-CET 2020 entrance exam on 12th October 2020 can check the revised examination schedule (date & time) by logging to their respective candidate’s portal (@ mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in.)
