Eligibility Criteria for MBA Admission in Telangana

Academic Qualification: Candidates who are willing to apply for postgraduate degree MBA Programme in Telangana must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Before applying the application, candidates must be aware of the edibility criteria because each different college will be having different criteria in order to get qualify. The Basic requirement is, candidates shall have passed in bachelor’s degree in concerned specialization with required 50% aggregate score from any recognized institute/university.

Domicile Rules: Telangana Residents/Domicile candidates are eligible to appear for TSICET MBA entrance exam in order to get admission. Candidates from other than Telangana state are also eligible to secure admission for MBA only through CAT/MAT/XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA in private B-Schools. To be noted, major preference is given for TSICET qualifiers and such candidates will be eligible for scholarship & tuition fee waiver scheme.

Application Process for MBA Admission in Telangana

Candidates who full fill the eligibility criteria are qualify to apply the application for Telangana MBA admission. Foremost, Telangana domicile candidates need to register for TS ICET entrance examination to secure MBA admission. Candidates with valid score in national entrance exam such as CAT/MAT/XAT or any other equivalent entrance exam score can apply the application form individually for the specific MBA college in Telangana. Step 1-Registration: At first, candidates required to visit the official portal of TS-ICET and must click on “Apply Online” Option. Then “Registration Fees Payment Procedure” Page will display on the screen. Candidates required to enter the details in order to complete registration process. Upon successful payment transaction ID will be generated and it can be used for logging purpose to the user account.

Step 2-Payment of TS ICET application fees: After the registration process, candidates required to pay the TS ICET application fees according to their category wise via online mode. Application fees for general category costs approximate INR 650 and for the reserved category application fee charges INR 450

Step 3-Filling the TS ICET application form: Before filling up an application form, candidates need to enter the details namely Payment Reference ID, Transaction ID and then proceed to fill up the required details in application form.

Step 4-Documents Uploading: Applicants need to upload the scanned images of passport size photo and Signature in a given prescribed format. After successfully uploading the documents, candidates need to click on submit option then the confirmation page will display on the screen, candidates required to take the print out of it which required during TS ICET counselling session.

Selection process for MBA Admission in Telangana

After the announcement of TS ICET entrance exam result, admission authority will prepare the merit list based on the candidates score secured in TS ICET entrance exam. All the candidates whose name mentioned in the merit list need to take part in TS ICET counselling session where they will be allotted seats in MBA participating Colleges of Telangana.85% of seats in Telangana reserved for the Telangana Domicile Candidates

Counselling Process for MBA Admission in Telangana

According to the TS ICET Merit List/Rank List, qualified candidates need to appear fore TS ICET Counselling session which will be conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of TSCHE. Counselling Session concludes certain steps which are elaborated below:

Step 1-Registration for document Verification: All the candidates who selected through TS ICET merit list need to register themselves by filling up the registration form at the designated counselling centre. According to the order of rank in the merit list, eligible candidates will be called for the registration process at counselling centre

Step 2-Document Verification Process: Once the registration process is completed, Candidates requited to report at the counselling centre along with the required educational documents in order to complete document verification process.

Step 3- Filling up choices & Locking: After the completion of document verification process, authority will activate the online portal for the verified candidates where they need to fill up their choices of college & specializations according to their preferences and after filling it up on option entry candidates are advised to lock their choices.

Seat Allotment Process for MBA Admission in Telangana

After the choices filled up by the candidates, TS ICET seat allotment process will begin. During the process, the choices which have been locked by the candidates before the deadline will be considered in order to allocate the seats. The final seat allotment will be based on the merit list, candidate’s choice and on the basis of availability of seats.

• In order to access the seat allotment order, candidates required to log on to the respective portal by using the login credentials which was generated during application process and candidates are advised to take the print out of the allotment letter
• The final step is, candidates need to pay the stipulated counselling fees and it can paid through challan (offline mode). Upon successful payment, candidates will receive the payment receipt and then candidates need to report at the allotted management college in Telangana and must complete further admission formalities.
