It received the status of autonomous, and seats are allocated purely based on academics and entrance exams. The programs offered in CMRCET are B. Tech as a UG degree, MBA, and M.Tech as a PG degree. These courses are approved by AICTE and affiliated with JNTUH. It has been accredited by NAAC with a grade of “A.”

B.Tech course is prescribed to take 120 seats annually in each specialization. It is a UG course offered in 6 specializations. The CMRCET Hyderabad fee structure is as per the prescribed norms of the TSAFRC, and it will be under the Convenor Quota. The B.Tech tuition fee for the convenor quota will be around Rs. 1 Lac per annum so the total four-year cost will be Rs. 4 Lac. The CMRCET management quota fee will be very high compared to the convenor fee.

The M.Tech course has to take 18 seats annually in each specialization per the norms prescribed by TSAFRC. The M.Tech course is a PG course offered in 4 fields. The M.Tech tuition fee for the convenor quota will be around Rs. 65,000 per annum, so that the two-year fee will be Rs. 1.30 Lac.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) has a total intake of 180 seats, and admission will be based on the TSICET. The seats will be given to students under the convenor quota—the CMR College of Engineering and Technology B. Tech fee structure will be Rs. 50,000 per annum for the convenor quota. The total fee that would cost for an MBA 2 years duration course will be Rs. 1 Lac.

CMRCET Hyderabad hostel facilities are available on the college campus for both girls and boys. The hostel facilities at this college are offered at a minimum and affordable fee of Rs. 60,000 annually. The hostel is guided and supervised by a full-time warden. The rooms are fully furnished and very spacious. There is a mineral water facility around the hostel that provides nutritious as well as hygienic food.
