The All India Management Association (AIMA) started the MAT 2024 Registration for the May session. If you're interested, you can sign up for the AIMA MAT 2024 exam on the official website. This exam comes in three formats: offline (paper-based test), online (computer-based test), and remote proctored (Internet-based test). Authority has already announced the MAT 2024 Exam Dates.

MAT 2024 registration started for the May 2024 phase. If you want to take the exam, you can apply online on the AIMA MAT website. MAT Eligibility Criteria 2024

AIMA conducts the MAT exam and has provided detailed MAT 2024 eligibility criteria. According to these criteria, students need to have finished their graduation in any field from a recognized university. Additionally, students who are in their final year of UG are eligible to take the exam.

MAT 2024 Age Limit:

  • AIMA does not specify any upper age limit for appearing in MAT 2024.

Minimum Marks:

  • There is no specified minimum percentage for taking the exam. However, individual institutes may have their minimum percentage requirements for admission.
  • In cases of grades or CGPA, the calculation of percentage marks will follow a procedure certified by the respective institute, aligning with the eligibility criteria of participating management institutes.

Number of Attempts:

  • There are no restrictions on the number of attempts. Students can take the exam as many times as they wish until they succeed.

Academic Qualification:

  • Completion of graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is necessary for students.
  • Those possessing professional degrees like CA, CS, or ICWA are also eligible for the MAT entrance exam.
  • Students in their final year of graduation can apply for the MAT 2024 exam.

Reservation Criteria

The All India Management Association has set specific minimum percentages for different categories of students:

  • Scheduled Caste at 15%
  • Scheduled Tribe at 7.5%
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC) at 27%
  • Physically Handicapped (PH) students at 3%

Students should remember that the reservation system for this year's exam is the same as last year's. To progress to the next interview rounds, aspirants must achieve the minimum required score and be shortlisted based on it.

MAT Exam Pattern 2024

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has set the pattern for MAT 2024. Like other MBA entrance exams, MAT requires quick thinking because you need to answer questions within a short time. MAT can be taken in three ways: Computer-Based Test (CBT), Paper-Based Test (PBT), and Internet-Based Test (IBT). Below is a detailed guide on how to fill out the MAT 2024 application form:

Step 1: Registering Online for MAT 2024

  • To start, students need to visit the official AIMA MAT website.
  • Students are required to provide their name, phone number, email ID, and DOB, as well as establish a password.
  • Once the details are verified, students are to proceed by clicking on the submit button.
  • A One-Time Password (OTP) will then be dispatched to the mobile number provided during registration.
  • Students need to verify their phone number using the OTP and complete the MAT online registration by logging in.

Step 2: Filling MAT 2024 Application Form

  • Students should choose the test mode - CBT, PBT, or IBT.
  • They should select their test city (if needed).
  • Personal details, email ID, and home address should be entered.

Step 3: Selecting MAT 2024 Test Centres

  • Students can choose up to 2 cities for their MAT Exam Centre.
  • Ensure that students select cities closest to you as preferred test centers.
  • The allotted test centre will be mentioned on the MAT 2024 admit card.
  • For MAT IBT mode, students can select 'Test City' from the drop-down, allowing them to take the test from home.

Step 4: Uploading Photo and Signature

  • Upload a recent color photograph (not more than six months old) with a file size between 10 and 50 KB in JPEG/JPG format.
  • Upload the signature in a black or blue ink pen with a file size between 5 and 20 KB in JPEG/JPG format.
