MAT 2024 Exam Dates OUT

AIMA (All India Management Association) announced the MAT 2024 Exam Dates for the February Session. As per the updated schedule, the Exam will be conducted from February 24 to March 8. MAT 2024 registration is ongoing.

MAT is a nationwide test organized by the AIMA for students aiming to join MBA or PGDM courses in over 800 B-schools in India. It happens 4 times a year in February, May, September, and December, offering different ways to take the test: Paper-based, Computer-based, and Internet-based.

The exam fees, structure, and subjects are the same for all three methods, but the dates and the way you take the test vary. Students can attempt MAT multiple times, but they have to sign up for each session separately. The score from the latest MAT exam is the one that counts for admission into the MAT-accepting MBA colleges in 2024.

MAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To take the MAT exam in 2024, here's what you need:

• Completed UG Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• Even if you're in your final year of graduation and waiting for your results, you can still apply for MAT 2024.
• There's no specific minimum score needed to apply. As long as you've passed your exams, you're good to go.
• Professionals like CA, CS, or ICWA graduates can also apply for the MAT exam.

How to Register for MAT 2024?

The only way to register is online. Applicants must visit the website for the AIMA MAT. It just takes seven easy steps to complete:

Step 1: Test Mode Details

You can choose between a minimum of one and a maximum of two test modes.

Step 2: Sign and upload a photo

Guidelines to Upload the Photo

• The photo must be a current color passport-sized photo.
• Ensure that there are no sharp shadows
• A colored photo against a white background.
• Make sure your eyes are seen clearly
• There should be no reflections if you use glasses.
• Make sure the photograph shows both of your ears.
• Hats, caps, and dark glasses are inappropriate for the picture.
• Headwear is OK as long as it doesn't hide your face.
• The only acceptable file formats for photos are.jpg and.jpeg.
• File sizes shouldn't be smaller than 10KB or larger than 50 KB.

Step 3: Select MBA Colleges:  

Candidates choosing the Double test modes can transmit their scores to an extra 2 MBA Colleges, making a total of 7 Colleges available, in addition to the current option of choosing 5 colleges. Candidates must pay INR 118 (taxes included) for each additional MI they choose.

Step 4: Complete Payment

The Payment page opens after making your college selections. The MAT 2024 registration fee may be paid using the Online Payment Gateway.

Step 5: View/download the MAT 2024 registration form

The candidate can examine the form and print it off for their records.

MAT 2024 Exam Pattern

• Two and a half hours are allotted for the test paper.
• The MAT question paper has 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of an objective type.
• The difficulty of the MAT question paper is easy to moderate.
• There are 40 questions in each of the five sections that make up the test paper.
• Every right response receives one mark.
• Every incorrect response carries a penalty of -0.25 marks.

MAT 2024 Exam Syllabus

The core exam portions of the MAT syllabus have been revised. All of the subjects covered in the most recent MAT exam syllabus are also covered in the questions on other national MBA entrance tests.

Even though the syllabus topics are the same, past exam questions and the exam pattern show that there are challenging questions in the Exam. The format of the MAT test and the kinds of questions that are asked in it serve as the basis for the course.
