LSAT 2021 has begun its registrations in India; the Exam to be held on March 25

The LSAT- Law School Admission Test 2021 in India started its registration process for all the Law aspirants on their authorized exam website. According to the recent update, LSAT is re-scheduled its exam for March 25, 2021. All the willing students can register their names and fill the application forms by visiting their website at discover law.in. The registration line is already open from 2 February 2021 and the final time period to register is by 14 March 2021, as announced by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC).

LSAT is a national-level entrance exam for aspiring law students, and this is organized by LSAC and is conducted twice a year, i.e., in March and June. Students who haven't performed well in the first session can apply for the June session and better their scores, and the latter scores will be considered while forming the merit list of candidates. According to the schedule, the June session is held on June 14, 2021, and the application process will begin by June 4, 2021.

 The LSAT-India Test is an online exam, and it will also help the overseas candidates where their scoring will become essential. The exam dates have been scheduled so that the dates aren't clashing with board exams and, therefore, the second session on 14 June 2021. 

 The sessions' scheduling is done so that they get adequate time for better preparation for both the sessions of LSAT 2021 exams. 

The LSAT exam for the 2021 year has begun accepting applications from the 10th of November 2020 itself. It is a national-level examination for LLB course admissions, and this exam is usually conducted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). LSAT's exam scores are admissible for UG, and PG LLB integrated courses in any participating Law colleges. The participating colleges are all well-known institutes providing LLB courses with approval from AICTE and better affiliations from recognized Universities. To take up the LSAT 2021 exams, students should thoroughly know the eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus, Format, and other details to prepare for the examination.

  • LSAT 2021 Application form is already accessible from 10th November 2020 through online mode as there is no option for applying through offline format. 
  • Applications are accepted only once, and if there is any duplication, the forms will be disqualified. 
  • Application forms should be filled without any chaos because any corrections later will not be entertained. 
  • Students must carefully attach all the important documents and certificates and continue the payment process to complete the application process.  

Application Fee: LSAT 2021 fee amount is for INR 3800/- transacted via card payments or net banking as there is no offline payment available.

 

Eligibility Criteria required for LSAT 2021

For this exam, both UG and PG applicants can apply for the exam, and the eligibility criteria are as below;

  • The applicants should be residents of this country, and there is no minimum or maximum age limit mentioned as such.
  • Students applying for the UG LLB program must have a minimum of 45% aggregate in 12 board exams. 
  • For the students applying for the PG LLB course, they must have completed their BA-LLB in any recognized universities with at least 45% in all core subjects. For candidates applying for LLM Program, students must have cleared at least a 3 or 5-year program related to LLB with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks from a recognized institute concerned with LLB. 

Exam Pattern for LSAT 2021

  • The exam is held offline, i.e., pen and paper method, where the medium of conducting the exam is English.
  • The paper is parted into 4 different sections by providing 35 min for each section (total time duration is 2 hours 20 mins)
  • The question pattern is completely MCQ format where the estimated questions will come up to 92-100
  • Each question carries one mark, and according to the marking scheme, there is no deduction for wrong answers.

Release of LSAT Admit card 2021

As the exam date for LSAT 2021 is declared to be on 25 March 2021, the admit card or hall ticket for the registered students will also be given in March as a week before the exam date. To get any information regarding the LSAT exam, students have to visit the website to avail the admit card once released. To get the respective admit card or other individual information, candidates must enter their login details as they will be different. 

While downloading the hall ticket, they will have to cross-check. If there is any misprint of information related to the candidate, it should be immediately reported to the concerned authority by mail or another contact mode. 

The admit card or hall ticket is an essential part of the examination, without which students will not be sent inside the exam center. It will also include all the set of rules and regulations that needs to be followed by the applicants, and there may be extra precautions due to the pandemic situation.

Release of LSAT 2021 Results

Result announcement of LSAT 2021 will be made after a while from the date of the exam. Candidates can check the results online only by visiting the official exam website of LSAT2021. Probably the results might be released in April 2021. All the registered students can check their marks by logging in and entering their specific roll no. or registration number given on the admit card. 

LSAT score results will compare with their strengths in critical thinking when measured with other candidate scores. Students must have the minimum cutoff marks to get their names framed in the merit list. 

The counseling process for LSAT 2021

Counseling for LSAT 2021 will commence in July 2021, and here, the students are supposed to block their seats in their top preferred colleges for law courses (UG/PG). This freezing of seats will make counseling easier. The authorities can quickly proceed with other steps of the counseling process like verification of documents, allotment of seats, providing confirmation letters, etc.  

The final admission procedure based on LSAT 2021 

Candidates who have attempted the LSAT 2021 are eligible to apply for any participating colleges once they have scored the exam's qualifying scores. Students can Google and get the recommendations for better colleges / Institutions, and later, they can individually go and apply for those institutions to get admissions. The admission process will be different from one college to another. The candidates will get seat allocation based on their preferences as mentioned for the counseling process, as this will be evaluated with the scores secured in the LSAT 2021 admission test.
