Karnataka State Open University commenced the application process for UG, PG, and Diploma Courses.
Karnataka State Open University has invited applications for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Diploma Courses. Candidates interested in getting admission to any of the courses at KSOU can fill the application form until 30th April 2021 with late charges. KSOU application forms are made available at the official website of the university. Those candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria can fill the online form within a stipulated deadline. Also, candidates can secure admission into their desired course through an offline process. In that case, candidates can contact the officials of the nearest regional center.
To be noted, the last date to fill the application form without the payment of a fine is 12th April 2021. However, candidates can apply till 12th April 2021 with a late penalty of INR 200. Also, candidates can apply till 30th April 2021 with a late penalty of INR 400.
Aspirants willing to secure admission in the B. Ed program at KSOU must appear for the university-level entrance exam. While the registration process for the entrance exam is ongoing, the last date for the registration is 29th March 2021. KSOU is going to conduct B.Ed. Entrance exam on 4th April 2021. Candidates who qualify for the entrance exam must complete other admission formalities by 30th April 2021. For the remaining UG & PG and diploma courses, admissions are provided based on the qualifying exam's academic merit.
The basic eligibility to apply for UG programs at KSOU is that candidates shall have passed in 12th / HSC with a minimum of 50% aggregate score in the concerned stream. Whereas candidates who hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant specialization are eligible to apply for PG courses at KSOU.

Step 1: At first, applicants must visit the official web portal of KSOU.
Step 2: Click on "online programs" and then click on the link "Apply online."
Step 3: Proceed to fill all the required details in the application form and preview it once and click on "Submit."
Step 4: After submitting the details, a reference number will be generated, applicants are required to note it down for future reference.
Step 5: Applicants are required to pay the stipulated fees according to their chosen course through online mode or Demand Draft.
