IGNOU PGD program

 IGNOU, shortened for Indira Gandhi National Open University, now has its application opening for the Post Graduate Diploma program in Corporate Social Responsibility familiar to be PGDCSR. Applications are available on the website, and the last date to submit is by 28 February 2021. 

 A candidate with any discipline of graduation and also the senior or mid-level candidates can also apply for PG Diploma in CSR management who are also the working professionals in any of the developing sector or NGO’s, working in research organizations, any willing government (state and central) faculty and civil servants can register and apply for this one-year PGDCSR program.

The PGDCSR program of IGNOU is designed in such a way to improve the holistic knowledge to understand the CSR activities like fundamentals, principles, implementations, project management that are covered in the syllabus of the PGD CSR program. This program is newly introduced by the institution from the January 2021 batch of students to understand better CSR theories, capacities of learning expansion, and how to curate, implement, monitor, and evaluate CSR projects and programs.

One of the professors from IGNOU briefed about this PGD program and said it is an appropriate course for open-distance learning in managing content and timing. This is one of the main methods to know about the CSR concept and become better CSR professionals.
