IGNOU Admissions: Re-Registration Begins for January 2021 Session

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has commenced the re-registration procedure for IGNOU admission January 2021 Cycle. Candidates who are interested to secure admission at IGNOU for next semester/year programmes can re-register by logging to the official web page of IGNOU (@ https://ignou.samarth.edu.in) through online mode. It is important to note, the re-registration is only applicable for applicants, who are already enrolled in any one of the IGNOU programme.

As per the official notification states” the registration window for IGNOU admission might open with in a couple of days. Hence, candidates required to check the official website often times to stay updated regarding the application process.

As per the notice IGNOU clarified that, Re-Registration implicates, registering for the next semester/year and it is applicable only for present candidate who are enrolling in UG and semester-based programmes for 2 or 3 years of duration. Hence, candidates can submit the application form in order to secure admission for their next semester or year.

IGNOU also notified the candidates to go through the admission instructions which is currently available on the respective web portal. Hence it is recommended to read the instructions carefully before proceed to fill up the application form

According to the schedule, IGNOU December TEE examination will be conducted in the month of February 2021.Previoulsy, IGNOU released the official notification pertaining the extension of last date for the IGNOU December 2020 Online admission. As per the extended schedule, candidates can submit the application form for TEE Examination till 15th December 2020.

Steps to followed by the candidates in order to fill up the IGNOU Re-Registration form for January 2021 Cycle.

Step 1: At first, Visit the Official website of IGNOU (@ ignou.ac.in)

Step 2: On home page click on the link stating “Re-Registration”

Step 3: Then, continue to click on “Apply online “tab under the section applicant login

Step 4: Choose the course & enter the enrolment number

Step 5: Application Page will display on screen, candidates required to enter all the necessary details which have been asked in the application form.

Step 6: After filling up the details appropriately, proceed to pay the stipulated IGNOU application fees via online mode.

Step 7: Upon successful payment, confirmation slip for payment will be generated. Candidates required to download the slip and take the print out of same for future reference purpose.
