Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University shortly known as AKTU is all set to provide placement opportunities to the students in the field of engineering and management for the new academic session of 2020-21.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University will smooth interview sessions for applicants to be placed in Multinational Companies. The university will offer this employment fair to all the students of undergraduate and postgraduate of 750 technical colleges that are affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University.

As a part of Mission Rozgar the Uttar Pradesh government’s initiative, the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University will arrange for employment opportunity in 40,000 posts. This initiative is focused on amplify the employability of youth.

Prof Vinay Kumar Pathak, Vice-Chancellor, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University said the due to the COVID-19 pandemic all the organizations have been keeping away from on-campus placements drives. With the state government’s support placements for the eligible students would have been any way possible.

In view of COVID-19 outbreak, to prevent disadvantaged from this employment opportunity Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University has arranged for the virtual placement options. In the upcoming week, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University will organize an online employment fair.

Top recruiting companies who are expected to be participating in this online employment fair are Amazon, Cadila, Aricent, ZS Associates, Infosys, Gainsight and NTT Data.

Vice-Chancellor Vinay Kumar Pathak said that the companies are now approaching the university to recruit students. This initiative was possible only after the Uttar Pradesh government managed to put a check on Covid-19 cases. He also stated that many well known organizations are already conducting online interviews for recruiting their students.

Pathak added that they have set a target to provide placement opportunities to 40,000 students in the new academic session in order to accomplish this we will bring more and more promising companies to our campus to recruit our students.

Meantime Spokesperson of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Ashish Mishra quoted, “It is the dream of every student to get a good job after completing the degree.
