CMAT 2021 Exam Pattern

CMAT is a national-level standard admission test for managerial programs accepted in many of the management or B-school. The conducting authority of CMAT is NTA, and it is responsible for giving all the updates regarding any changes concerned to the exam. The CMAT 2021 was earlier scheduled to be from Feb 22 to Feb 27, 2021. Now NTA has announced the postponed exam dates, and it is supposed to be conducted by the final week of March or in the first week of April 2021; the exact dates are yet to be revealed, and along with this, NTA has also reopened its application window on their official website at cmat.nta.nic.in. 

Standard Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an online exam organized through a computer-based method as defined by NTA, which is officially approved and affiliated to AICTE. Till 2018, AICTE was the conducting body of CMAT, and late NTA took it forward by organizing this exam. Students aspiring to get to managerial fields can apply for this exam. Students can get admissions for management programs in any of the participating colleges for CMAT 2021. 

For now, the application process of CMAT 2021 is stipulated to end on Feb 26, 2021, to pay the application fees.   

The newly revised exam pattern of CMAT 2021 is as below.

The CMAT 2021 question paper comprises 100 questions in total, and the paper is divided into four parts, where each section has 25 questions. Section A is Language comprehension, Section B is Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Section C is Logical Reasoning, and section D is General Awareness.    

As NTA has an optional section as Innovation & Entrepreneurship, this makes the total value of the paper a total of 125 questions, and it is applicable only for Innovation & Entrepreneurship aspirants only. In this section, there are 25 questions, and the time duration is for 30 minutes.

Some of the qualification standards that are taken into consideration are- Candidates must have done their degree in any of the recognized college or University board., Even the students from the final semester who are yet to take up the final exam can also apply for CMAT 2021; There is no maximum age limit stated for using for the CMAT exam and no aggregate or cutoff marks specified by the authority. 

How to Apply Online for CMAT 2021?

There are few simple steps stated below:

1. Candidates must visit NTA official website to know more about the CMAT 2021 examination.  
2. Look for the application form button on the exam homepage.
3. Students should also look for the self-declaration form, tick on the proceed button, and continue. 
4. The application form will be shown on the screen when the candidates can fill in the respective details like name, address, etc. and set their willing password and security pin and complete the registration process. 
5. Next, he/ she has to fill in the form details, attach photographs and signatures in the required format and file size.
6. Lastly, pay the form fees amount, submit the form and take the copy as well.
