CLAT 2021 is an offline exam, i.e., the pen and paper method, which comes with pros and cons. Some of them are-

Pros:

  • Written tests are always said to be on the comfortable side than conducting with the help of technology as students are used to it since their school times
  • Candidates can see the complete paper at once and strategize their writing speed and selection of questions.
  • They don't have to keep scrolling the answer to read it thoroughly and waste their time
  • In pen-paper mode, there is always sufficient space to do the side's rough work conveniently.
  • A pen is still a comfortable tool than using a mouse continuously.

Cons of Pen-paper mode of CLAT examination

  • Making corrections in the paper becomes a little tricky, unlike in the CBT method; this makes the paper look neat and readable.
  • Shifting from one section of the paper to another becomes problematic in the P& P method and is easier on the computer and saves time.
  • Due to the pandemic situation, it is a little complicated to make the arrangements for offline examination.

To combat the cons of offline examination, they can practice few mock tests and OMR sheets for carefully marking the answers without making mistakes. Frequently use OMR sheets and make the habit before attempting the CLAT 2021 exam as just the marking of solutions in the proper manner also consumes time. The marking also needs to be perfect in ball-pen only; otherwise, the answers will not be validated.
