Most students who opt for PCM go for an engineering degree without cross-checking that there are many career options apart from engineering. With new careers arising and new fields getting recognized every day, students should step out of their comfort zone and try various options available.

Here are 9 promising career options for class 12th PCM students other than Engineering:

1. Pharmacy: A career in pharmacy is marvelous if a student is good at math and Chemistry. A pharmacist's work is to make/produce/generate drugs for medical purposes. Pharmacists need to have very good knowledge of the usage and effects of drugs and should also be very good at mathematics to ensure that the drug composition is right.

2. Industrial Design: Industrial designing is all about creating designs for mass products like mobile phones, cars, washing machines, ridge, and products, but it does not stop there as it also requires intense research and development. Industrial designing needs technical expertise, which is taught to students from PCM background

3. Architecture: Architecture is more like art; architecture’s primary concern is designing the development work. An architect will increase the exterior and interior beauty of the structure, provide proper arrangements for present and future needs with proper land utilization, provide sufficient lighting, air circulation, etc.
