According to the latest update, Allahabad University has been decided to complete the examination process 2020 of Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programs, which was discontinued in the month of March due to COVID-19 Lockdown in the country. Examination committee held the meeting on Monday that is on 16th June 2020 and the authority have decided to resume the examination for final year students from 17th August 2020 onwards.
Earlier, Allahabad University Controller of Examination Prof. R K Singh was rejected the request of promoting the students without examination and also stated that all the students must secure their grades through examination only to get promote, and also said that examination will be conducted later. As per this, Allahabad university has been decided to recommence the examination as per the given time schedule.
In the examination committee of Allahabad University also decided that exam duration will be 2 hours for final year/final Semester Exams. Candidates need to answer for four questions in the examination paper and also to make sure time completion of the examination, the committee has planned to conduct examination in three shifts and also it will be held on Sunday & Saturday. To ensure safety measures, all the examination centers will be sanitized as per the COVID-19 precautions which is proposed under the government authority.
Allahabad University will allow the students to stay in hostel from 7th August 2020 onwards, at first Phase, UG & PG Exams will be conducted only for the final year & final semester students and in the second phase examinations will be conducted for 1st year and 2nd year students. As per the source second year students will not be promoted for final year, but they will be allowed to attend the classes for final year. Whenever it is feasible examination will be conducted in between the academic year. The same process is also applicable for the first year students
