The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has released the schedule for its entrance exams on the official website. These exams are for students seeking admission to different UG and PG courses offered by the University. AMU will administer the entrance tests on June 8th, 9th, and 10th.

AMU stated that admission to MBA, MBA (IB), and MBA (IBF) programs will be based on CAT scores. The Aligarh Muslim University entrance exam 2024 for UG programs like BSc (Hons), BA (Hons), BSc BEd, BCom (Hons),  and BA BEd is scheduled for June 8th. For Btech / BArch paper 1, BA LLB, and BEd, the entrance exams are scheduled for June 10th. Students looking for Aligarh Muslim University Admission 2024 must pass the relevant exam as per course requirements.

AMU Eligibility Criteria 2024

The exam conducting authority published the eligibility criteria for the AMU entrance exam online in 2024. Students should review these criteria carefully before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria include age limits, educational qualifications, and other requirements. Separate eligibility criteria were released for each course offered by the University for the AMU entrance test in 2024.

For B.Tech admissions:

  • Maximum age limit: 24 years
  • Must have passed HSC or equivalent with at least 50%-60% marks in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.

For BA LLB:

  • Maximum age limit: 24 years
  • Must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate with an aggregate of at least 50% marks or
  • Must have completed a Bridge Course (for Graduates of Deeni Madaris) from AMU with an aggregate of 50% marks.

For BA (Hons):

  • Maximum age limit: 24 years
  • Must have qualified Senior Secondary School or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate of English and three subjects from a specified list
  • Must have completed a Bridge Course (for Graduates of Deeni Madaris) from AMU with at least 50% marks.

For B.Com (Hons):

  • Maximum age limit: 24 years
  • Must have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam (Commerce) or equivalent with a minimum 55% aggregate marks in English & Accounts and two subjects among specified options or
  • Must have completed the Diploma in Secretarial Practice exam with not less than 55% marks.

For B.Sc. (Hons):

  • Maximum age limit: 24 years
  • Must have qualified Senior Secondary School Certificate with at least 50% in English and three subjects among specified options.

For B.Arch:

  • Maximum age limit: 24 years
  • Must have passed HSC with at least 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths

For L.L.M:

  • Maximum age limit: 27 years
  • Must have qualified for the LLB/B.A.LL.B exam of AMU or an equivalent recognized exam with not less than 55% marks.

For M.C.A:

  • Maximum age limit: 27 years
  • Must have qualified B.Tech/B.Arch/BE with aggregate 55% marks, or
  • Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Science with 55% marks and studied Maths along with specified subjects or
  • Must have studied Physics and Maths in the Senior Secondary School Certificate or equivalent course.

Aligarh Muslim University Exam Registration 2024

You can find the application Online on the AMU admission portal. Make sure to fill out the form before April 14, 2024, the last date. You'll need to register, fill in your academic, personal, and contact details, upload documents, and pay the application fee of INR 900. Students will have the choice to fill out the application form late by paying an additional fee of Rs. 300.

  1. Prepare all your documents for easy reference.
  2. Fill in the required details in the form, such as your name, educational qualifications, address, valid email ID, and contact number.
  3. Make sure to note down the registration number and password generated for future use.
  4. Upload scanned images of your photo, signature &  thumb impression according to the specified requirements.
  5. Complete the form by paying the application fee.

  • For BE (evening), the Application Fee is Rs. 450
