AIMS Application process

AIMS Application process begins for July 2021 session Admission to PG Programs. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) admissions process for July session 2021 is live. It has opened the application window made available for registration for PG courses in July 2021. Aspired candidates can easily apply through the online website at aiimsexams.org. If at all the candidates have applied previously by giving their basic information for the Jan and July sessions of 2019 and 2020 and the Jan 2021 session, they are not required to fill in the registration form again with some basic details. 

Any of the candidates whose registration process was incomplete or disqualified due to some technicality can again register themselves by giving all the candidate's basic dates, and the one registered in Jan session 2021 can definitely do it again for the July session of 2021. The last date to register AIMS admission test (INI CET) is March 31st, 2021, as per the AIMS authority's statement.

AIMS Application process steps for INI CET July 2021 Session

Step 1: As mentioned above, candidates will have to visit the AIMS website at aiimsexams.org

Step 2: Candidates will have to register their names on the website by giving in their name, DOB, contact details (mob number and mail ID), category, etc. 

Step 3: After entering the details, they are supposed to upload all the specified documents like certificates, passport-sized photographs, signatures, etc.

Step 4: The specified application fee amount has to be paid; for general category students, it is for INR 1500, and for reserved category candidates, it is INR 1200. 

Step 5: The payment is possible only through the online mode of transactions and then finally submit the registration/ application form.

Eligibility criteria of applicants to take up INI CET of AIMS

  • All the willing applicants should have mandatorily completed their MBBS degree and now interested in pursuing their MS/ MD. If they are willing to join for MDS program, then they should submit their BDS completion certificate from a recognized board or university powered by MCI/ DCI.
  • The accepting percentage for candidates in their degree is a minimum of 55% for gen candidates and 50% for ST/SC candidates.
  • Along with the degree certificate, they must also complete an Internship program that must be completed in a year before 31st July 2021; only then are candidates eligible to apply for admissions in AIMS for July 2021 session.
