The University of Science & Technology Meghalaya is the first private University in North-East India. It was established in 2011 by Mr Mahbubul Hoque and is an Education Research & Development Foundation (ERDF) project. ERDF is a philanthropic organization which aims at strengthening and streamlining the educational infrastructure in Assam, Meghalaya and other parts of the region. It is a UGC-approved institution. University Of Science And Technology Meghalaya Course Admissions

Before applying for a programme, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for UG and PG level courses. Entrance tests determine admission to the few specialized courses while qualifying exam results are used for others.

• For admission to the University Of Science And Technology Meghalaya MBA, candidates must score a minimum of 45% marks (aggregate). Selection of the applicants is based on CAT, MAT, CMAT, and XAT.
• Suppose students who have not attempted these exams must take up the USTM CAT administrated by the University. Later, shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend GD and PI rounds.
• For admission to the BA, BSc, BBA or BCA, students must have passed 10+2 in any stream with a 45% aggregate. These courses are selected based on merit obtained in the last qualifying exam and a Personal Interview.
• Candidates applying for BPT, B Pharm, B.Ed or BALLB must attend the USTM Entrance Exam.

How to Apply at USTM?

• You can submit an online application by visiting the university website, www.ustm.ac.in, and clicking the Apply Online option.
• You can pay the required application fee of Rs. 1000 (or Rs. 1500 for an MBA and Rs. 2000 for a PhD) using Net Banking, a debit card, or a credit card.
• Alternatively, Prescribed application forms for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes must be obtained by paying the required fee
• Dully completed to be submitted in person or by mail to the registrar's office on or before the deadline for application form submission.

On all working days, admission forms will be received at the office from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

• The application fee is non-refundable
• The application form must include three recent, passport-size, coloured photos attached.
• These photos must be properly self-attested. Different photos on application forms run the risk of being rejected.
• A candidate's application may be denied if they submit multiple applications for the same course.
