Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, also known as TAMV, is located in the city centre of Pune, Maharashtra. It is among one of the leading ayurvedic institutions of Maharashtra. The institution was established on 26th June 1933 as Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, and later on, in 1962, it was renamed as Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya by Hon Chief Minister Shri. Yashvantrao Chavan. The institution was established to educate the students and empower them to become successful ayurvedic medical professionals with high ethical and strong moral values. The institution aims towards serving society with great ayurvedic healthcare treatment. The institution provides students with multiple courses held in Ayurvedic Science at the UG & PG levels.

Tilak Ayurveda College offers admission to the BAMS at the UG level. The course has a timeline of 5 months and 6 months. The course is offered in the stream of Ayurvedic Science.

  • The admission in the BAMS program at TAMV Pune is done through the entrance examination.
