Sriram Chandra Bhanj Medical College is a private institution and was bought into existence in the academic year of 1944. The institution is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI) and is affiliated with Utkal University. It offers UG & PG courses in medical studies like MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, and M.CH etc. Admissions are offers through entrance examinations. Infrastructure is well organised with best facilities like hostel, well- stocked library, classrooms with projectors, Wi-Fi, Medical services, sports and transportation facilities. Faculties of this college are the best; they are all well experienced and highly qualified. Fees structure for courses is feasible and placement facilities are also offered by the college.
After the completion of 12th with good percentage in science stream I was very much interested in doing MBBS Course so I gave NEET Entrance Exam and then through counseling I opted this college for studying MBBS course. Facilities and infrastructure wise I can say fee is reasonable to pay. Faculties of my college are actually good and they provide us best training through practical exposure. College provides good hostel facilities and rooms are good & maintained clean and there is mess availability which offers nutritious food. We have an internship opportunity to work in associated hospital and the stipend amount is 25k
Through NEET score, NEET counselling takes place and candidates qualified in the counselling will be allotted with college seat. No management quota offered candidates need to appear for NEET based on that Sriram Chandra Bhanj Medical College & Hospital MBBS admissions will be granted. In the first round MBBS cut-off ranges between 222-1724 candidates in between this score will be eligible. SCBMCH MBBS fee structure is less and feasible as it is a govt. college. During 1 year internship we do get quite good amount of stipend. Total intake of students every year will be 250 students, in the month of June and July admissions start for joining the college.
