Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2020

Sriram Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital provides UG courses like MBBS with the duration of 5.5 years, and PG courses like MD, MS with the duration of 3 years and Diploma with duration of 2 years and post-doctoral courses like DM and M.Ch. with the duration of 3 years.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for MBBS:

The student must have passed in 10+2 examination with minimum 50% of marks with PCB as subjects and 40% for SC and ST category students from a recognised board to be eligible for MBBS course in Sriram Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital.

Admissions are based on marks scored in Orissa-JEE and NEET UG entrance exam.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for BDS:

  • The minimum eligibility of the student is passing in 10+2 with 50% of aggregate marks from a recognised board with physics, chemistry and biology as subjects.
  • Selection of candidates is based on Orissa JEE or the entrance exam conducted by the govt.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for MD and MS:

  • Students should have a degree in MBBS from a MCI recognised university to be eligible for PG courses.
  • Selection of students for admission is based on marks scored in NEET PG entrance examination.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for Diploma:

  • Students should have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognised board.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for DM and M.Ch:

  • The student should have a degree in MBBS from a recognised university and must have a MD/MS degree by SKIMS or any other university recognised by MCI.
  • Admissions are based scored in competitive entrance exam conducted by govt.
