Rungta College of Engineering and Technology was started in the year 1999, located in Bhilai, Chattisgarh. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated with Chattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, and TCS.
The total area of the campus is 80 Acres. The college consists of a well-organized library with more than 65000 books in various departments. And the college has a large auditorium with a capacity of 400 seating with all the types of equipment.
In 2014 it was ranked 6th by Silicon India magazine and ranked 22nd as Dataquest. The college offers B.E., M.Tech, and Ph.D. in many specializations, MCA and MBA.
