NMKRV College for Women

NMKRV College for Women, in Jayanagar, Bangalore, is managed by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samiti Trust. It began in 1971 as a Pre-University College with 150 students, later becoming NMKRV Degree College for Women in 1973. Over time, the College has grown and gained a good reputation, becoming one of the Best Degree Colleges in Bangalore. The College is affiliated to Bangalore University.

 NMKRV College Jaynagar Bangalore gained autonomy in 2006 and was recognized as a 'College with Potential for Excellence' by the UGC. The College got a high grade from NAAC and is now preparing for another review. The College is involved in connecting higher education with rural areas through the Unnath Bharath Abhiyan initiative.
