Katihar Medical college is located in Katihar, Bihar, as a deemed medical college. This medical institute was the idea of the al-Karim Minority group of Bihar and was also started. This institute is mainly contemplating intensifying the facilities in the higher learning of the younger generation belonging to the Muslim minority community.

• This college is under the preview of Bhupendra Narayan Mandal Universit ( BNMU), Madhepura, and, as usual, recognized by the Medical Council of India.
• Katihar Medical College has been providing UG programs in Bachelor Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery- MBBS and some PG programs in Doctor of Medicine- MD, Doctor of Surgery- MS, and post-graduation in almost all clinical as well non-clinical disciplines.
• KMCH is having a sprawling area of 55 acres in which the built-up area is 900,000 Sq. Ft and is situated in Karim Bagh. The facilities include a library housing almost 16 thousand books, 57 international journals, 51 national journals, etc.
• Katihar Medical college admissions are given to 100 students for the MBBS course every year. Institute will hold a selection of the candidates based on the performance in NEET.
• This college reserves 60% seats for the Muslim Community, 25% is reserved for the general category students, and 15% seats are for the non-residents Indian or foreign means NRI candidates.
• The specialty of this college is that this is the only private medical institute that reserves a Non-resident quota in the state of Bihar.

Katihar Medical College's fees annually for the MBBS course currently is 12.50 lakhs. The fee structure in this college will be revised and updated every three years as per the budgetary requirement of the college and the economical parameters of the college.
