Geetanjali Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Nellore was formed by Ushodaya Educational society in 2008 as a private institute. The Institute was started to deliver worth technical and engineering education to the students of rural and needy regions. GIST is situated on 13 acres of land well-connected by a Railway Station that is 5 km away. The institute has several transportation options available regularly, which makes different places accessible.

GIST, Nellore is an ISO 9001:2015 certified institute providing Technical and Engineering Education at UG and PG levels, such as Diploma with two specializations CE & ME, B.Tech with five Specializations CSE, ECE, EEE, ME & CE, and M.Tech with two disciplines SCE & PE. GIST, Nellore is AICTE, New Delhi, and is affiliated with JNTU, Anantapur, for offering the engineering programs.

• GIST, Nellore Fee Structure for B.Tech CE is INR 228000/- and other B.Tech programs are INR 362000/- for four years, and M.Tech is INR 114000/- for two years, and Diploma is INR 310000/- for three years.
• GIST, Nellore Placement of 1 student, was done in Triveni Turbines with a package of INR 5.29 LPA, Infosys hired one student with 4.5 LPA, eight students by Wipro with an average package of INR 3.6 LPA, 11 students by Mindtree with 3.52 LPA, and ten students by Mphasis & 25 students by TCS with an Average package of 3.5 LPA.
• GIST, Nellore Hostels is equipped with spacious dining rooms, Hygienic mess, RO Treated Water, Medical Assistance, STD-ISD, Central Library, and well-furnished rooms.

GIST, Nellore Admission procedure will be followed based on the merit in the entrance exams for each program such as AP EAMCET for B.Tech, AP PGECET for M.Tech, and AP POLYCET for Diploma.
