Dr. Panjabroa Deshmukh Polytechnic (DPDP), Amravati, is a Govt. of Maharashtra Aided College that began in 1956 as a part of Shree Shivaji Education Society. DPDP, Amravati was established as a private college for offering Diploma Engineering courses in several disciplines with approval from AICTE. The College has its affiliation to Maharashtra state board for Technical Education, Mumbai. DPDP, Amravati is situated in Shivaji Nagar of Amravati in Maharashtra, India.

• DPDP, Amravati, offers four programs in Engineering Diploma course in disciplines such as Civil and Rural Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Electronics Engineering.
• DPDP, Amravati fee structure for Diploma Engineering is collected as INR 6000/- per annum for Tuition fee, INR 1000/- towards Development fee, INR 550/- as other miscellaneous fees, and INR 720/- towards examination fee for affiliated University. The entire fee structure for DPDP, Amravati, is INR 8270/- per annum.
• DPDP, Amravati Admission process for Engineering Diploma courses is done on the merit in 10+2 in science qualifying exam or any vocational or technical subjects with an aggregate of 50% marks or open category PCM subjects with 50% marks or even two years of ITI Diploma students with 60% marks.

Infrastructural facilities provided in DPDP, Amravati are Library with a seating capacity of 110 students and resource of 20644 books in 5896 Titles along with 12 National and 6 International Journals, Separate laboratories for each department in DPDP, Amravati namely, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Science & Humanities. The college even has a medical emergency center for students and staff members on the campus.
