Barkatullah University, originally known as Bhopal University, was established in 1970 under the state government's sponsorship in the Indian state Madhya Pradesh. The university is accredited with ‘B’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognized by University Grants Commission.

Placement:

Training & Placement Cell aims to strengthen the interaction between the corporate and the BUIT. BUIT has added new laurels in the history of on-campus placements among institutions in  India central, with corporate companies such as TCS, TATA POWER, JK TIRE, TECH MAHINDRA, JK TIRE, etc. were invited. The cell is directed by a TPO and is supported by other faculties. The Placement cell receives industry information on job opportunities and the latest trends. It spreads through corporate conferences, a training program for students, and teacher conferences are arranged. The placement department also organizes industrial visits and training for aspirants.
