Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology B Tech Admission 

 

The minimum qualification for admission to the B Tech is completing the 10+2 board examination in Science with above 50% aggregate marks. Physics, chemistry, and mathematics are the necessary subjects here.

Seat Allocation:

  • 70% of the seats in each branch of engineering are filled under Category 'A'.Commonly known as Convenor Quota.
  • 30% of the seats in each branch of engineering are filled under the Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology Management quota, commonly known as Category 'B'.

 

Admission under  Category - A:

Admissions for Category 'The TS-EAMCET convener manages a' seats through Web Counseling. These admissions are based on the TS-EAMCET rank, and the rules for admission into professional colleges in Telangana are followed. To apply for Category 'A', applicants should visit the TS-EAMCET website for more information. It is also important to satisfy the VJIT Hyderabad Cutoff.

 

VJIT Admission under Management Quota

Admissions under Category 'B' are conducted by the college's management according to the guidelines provided by TSCHE, Hyderabad. These admissions are separate from those under Category 'A'.

 VJIT Lateral Entry B.Tech Admission

The Government of Telangana oversees admissions for the Lateral Entry B.Tech program through Centralized Counseling. Eligible candidates for this program should have completed a 3-year Diploma course or an equivalent examination. Additionally, they must qualify for the ECET exam the Government of Telangana conducts. Admissions for the Lateral Entry B.Tech program are carried out through web counselling.

  • Eligible Category 'A' candidates should have completed a 3-year degree course or an equivalent examination.
  • Candidates in this category must also qualify for the ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test) exam conducted by the Government of Telangana.

Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology Scholarship

  • Scholarships or tuition fee reimbursement are provided to SC (Scheduled Caste) and ST (Scheduled Tribe) students. Students' parental income should be less than 2 lakhs annually to be eligible.
  • Scholarships or tuition fee reimbursement are also available for BC (Backward Class), EBC (Economically Backward Class), and Minority students. Students' parental income should be less than 1.5 lakhs per annum to qualify.
  • Application for these scholarships should be made through the respective departments by providing the necessary documents, including a Community Certificate and Income Certificate.

 

Note for PG Students: PG students who qualify for the GATE are not eligible for state government scholarships. They receive fellowships from AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).

 

Attendance Requirement: All scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum attendance of 75% throughout their studies to remain eligible for the scholarships.

For MBA admissions, VJIT will consider TSICET cut-off scores. The accepted Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology cut-off is 20002. The score is considered for all the given specializations.
