1. Applicants who have passed the HSC Part-II (10+2) examination from the J&K Board of School Education or equivalent recognized by the University of Jammu are eligible for admission to Semester I.

2. Those who have passed with at least 45% aggregate marks.

Note: Candidates who have failed in one or more subjects at the 10+2 level are not eligible for admission as per University Council Resolution No. 80.08.

Selection Process

1. B.A./B.Com. Semester I to II: Students must pass the Internal Assessment in 75% of subjects/papers in Semester I and appear in at least one Semester I paper's Semester End Examination for promotion to Semester II.

2. B.A./B.Com. Semester II to III: Promotion requires passing at least 50% of theory/practical subjects/papers of Semester I and passing the Internal Assessment of 75% of subjects/papers in Semester II.

Admission to B.A./B.Com. Semesters III and V are open exclusively to Non-CBCS students. Enrollment for subsequent semesters is required within seven days of the preceding semester's Jammu University Distance Education examination.
