Symbiosis Institute of International Business MBA Admission

SIIB Pune MBA Course is available in International Business, Agribusiness, energy, and the Environment, all aspects of global business. The institute’s MBA-IB program is its flagship offering. For the various MBA specializations, there are 210 seats available, including 120 for the MBA (IB), 60 for the MBA (AB), and 30 for the MBA (E&E).

Further, in the MBA International Business Course, students can choose Major courses in any functional area of specialization (marketing, finance, supply chain management, and HR) through the elective system. Due to the semester system, every subject is covered in great detail, and each course is thoroughly understood and evaluated.

The MBA in IB Management program’s first semester acts as a testing ground and establishes the foundation for knowledge of business management.

SIIB Pune MBA Eligibility

  • Candidates must hold a graduate certificate with at least 50% overall or an equivalent grade (45% for SC or ST candidates).
  • Students in the final year of their degree may also apply. Still, their admission will only be provisional and contingent upon receiving at least 50% of the available points in the qualifying exam or an equivalent grade (45% for SC/ST candidates).

Eligibility for Foreign/NRI Candidates

  • For PG programs, candidates must have received a qualifying grade of at least 60% in their undergraduate degree.
  • Additionally, they must have taken IELTS and received a minimum score of 6 or an IELA Test band minimum of 3.
  • Foreign applicants, NRIs, PIOs, and OCIs must have current passports and visas.
  • They must obtain an equivalence certificate from AIU if they have earned a qualifying degree from any foreign university.
  • While applying for provisional admission, candidates must attest that they meet the requirements for admission.
  • Students with backlogs or failures in their final exams will not be permitted admission.

SIIB Pune MBA Selection Criteria

The SIIB Pune admission criteria are as follows:

  • Symbiosis selects candidates who will receive a passing score on the SNAP exam. In addition, students must satisfy the SIIB Pune cutoff requirements.
  • The shortlisted candidates must show up for the GE-PI-WAT process for selection after being shortlisted.
  • At the SIIB Pune campus, GE-PI-WAT is conducted.
  • Therefore, the SNAP test results and performance in the GE, PI, and WAT rounds are included in the final selection. SIIB Pune SNAP Cutoff is in the 93 percentile.
  • The institute will email those chosen to inform them they have been chosen.

Selection Criteria for NRI students:

  • Graduation Transcripts - 80% weightage

  • Two Letters of Recommendation - 5% weightage
  • Students applying under the NRI category don’t have to appear for the English Proficiency Test (IELA/IELTS Exam).

How do you apply for the MBA in SIIB Pune?

Candidates interested in applying for admission must sign up for the SNAP test before enrolling in the MBA program. Following are the steps for SIIB Pune Online Registration.

  • Observe the official website.
  • To apply, select the “Apply” tab.
  • Then select the “Register” tab.
  • Later, click the “Submit” button.
  • After successful registration, pay the INR 1750 registration fee for the SNAP Test.
  • After that, enrol in the institute’s course by entering your SNAP ID and password.
  • Complete all the necessary fields.
  • Pay the INR 1950 SIIB Pune application fee for the specialization you want to pursue.

Needed Documents

  • Mark sheet for class 10.
  • Mark sheet for class 12.
  • Grade reports and degree certificates for graduation (per sem).
  • Either a provisional certificate or a certificate of passage.

Two steps make up the selection procedure.

Step I: Students interested in admission must take the SNAP Test. This written test is required for admission to all Symbiosis postgraduate institutions. Finally, save the SNAP Test admit card for the SIIB, Pune, recruitment process. An applicant does not automatically advance to the next stage of the SIIB Pune selection process by taking the SNAP Test.

Step II: GE, PI, and WAT: Based on SNAP results, shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next selection round at SIIB, Pune. On the college website, a web link is used to announce the results of candidates who have been shortlisted and those who have not. Only in PUNE will the entire selection process take place. Group exercises, PI, and written ability tests (GE-PIWAT) are all part of this process.

About the SNAP Entrance Exam

The MBA Entrance Exam is SNAP, as it is more often called.
