I’m an electronics and communication engineer from SWSET. I passed out in the year 2019. Here I’ll be providing some details into the admission process into SWSET. Surya World School of Engineering and Technology Admission for B.E require the candidate to have cleared their 12th grade with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates as per government norms) from any stream but from a recognised university. The cutoff marks mentioned above are only for Physics, chemistry and math subjects. Also, the students are required for the entrance test conducted by the college. Followed by which, they’ll be called for counselling by the PTU.
My admission for B.Tech was done in the month of July on the basis of rank we have got in entrance test. We firstly have to apply for the entrance test like JEE Mains conducted by CBSE. Our college is under the Surya University which is considered to be the premier university which is having qualified faculty who are too experienced and supportive. Seeing this I was very concerned about how I will get admission in Surya School of engineering and Technology. 10+2 percentage and entrance exam score will be considered eligible for Surya School of engineering and Technology admission for B.Tech.
I took B.Tech course admission be based on the marks secured in entrance and we must attend the counseling conducted by PTU. The counseling would be held on the basis of marks secured in entrance exam and I had written the state level entrance. I took government quota seat through the counseling but there will be seats given on the basis of management quota. The management quota seats will be direct admission based on the marks in 12th directly. Application form must be filled once we get seat through counseling and we must also pay the application fee along with application form while submission.
Having pursued B.Tech in Electronics at Surya World. I owe this college a lot more. Consequently, I write this review so that many students like me shouldn’t struggle trying to find the criteria. Surya World School of Engineering and Technology Admission for B.Tech requires the students to have completed 10+2 or an equivalent with subjects such as mathematics and physics in their course with an average of 50% aggregate and a min of 45% for SC/ST candidates. The students should’ve taken either AIEEE or JEE Mains with optimum scores, as per their scores students will be allotted to their respective fields. Hence, targeting on your score while preparing for the competitive exams is a must for the desired branch.
