SSET was established in 2009 at Chandigarh in Punjab is prominently known to be a private institution for engineering and technology. SSET is a short form for Surya School of Engineering and Technology, and they have sought approvals by AICTE and the NBA and have affiliation with the PCI. SSET offers both UG and PG programs in engineering courses only, i.e., B-Tech, and M-tech, courses in their respective choice for taking up specializations.
