SSIEM offers a Bachelor's in Engineering program at the undergraduate level. The program is offered in the field of Engineering and Technology. The BE course offered at SSIEM is full-time, and it is held on-campus. The duration of the BE program is four years, distributed equally into eight semesters.

SSIEM B.E. eligibility criteria

The BE courses at SSIEM are regulated by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. The eligibility criteria for admission to the BE program at SSIEM are mentioned below.

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 or any HSC level equivalent board exam.
  • The mandatory subjects should be Mathematics and Physics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotech/ vocational courses, or any technical courses.
  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in all of the subjects combined.
  • In this case, the candidates belong to the reserved category. Therefore, a relaxation of 5% aggregate marks will be offered.
  • Candidates must have undertaken the common entrance exam MHT-CET or JEE-mains and have scored valid marks.

SSIEM BE selection criteria

  • For admission in the BE courses, SSIEM offers an entrance exam mode of admission.
  • Candidates willing to apply to the BE program at SSIEM must undertake the common entrance exam, MHT CET or JEE Main.
  • The admission in the BE program at SSIEM is done through the Centralized Admission Procedure conducted by the DTE, Mumbai.
  • 80% of the total seats will be reserved for the candidates applying through the CAP round.
  • Candidates can visit the official website of DTE and can enrol themselves under CAP counselling.
  • The DTE will release a merit list, and the seats will be allocated based on the merit rank and choice of preferences filled by candidates.
  • Candidates should fill up SSIEM in the list of preferred colleges.
  • Shortlisted candidates will have to report to the constitution to freeze the seat.
  • The SSIEM also offers seats at the institutional level. 20% of the total seats and remaining vacant seats in the CAP round come under the institute level.
  • The institute administration will offer admission to these seats under the norms and guidelines of DTE and the university.
  • To apply for admission under the institutional level, candidates can visit the campus and inquire about the admission procedure.

Bachelor's in Engineering (BE.)

10+2 or any intermediate level board examination from a recognized board of education. Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/biology or any vocational or technical subjects.
