SSGBCOET B. Tech Degree Program

Shri Sant Gadge Baba College offers admission to the B Tech course in seven disciplines. Candidates seeking admission to the B Tech program in SSGBCOET must satisfy the minimum eligibility conditions.

SSGBCOET B. Tech eligibility

• The students who want to be a part of the B. Tech degree programs in Sri Sant Gadge Baba College shall have to have passed 10+2 in maths, chemistry and physics, and English with a minimum aggregate of 50%. 
• Candidates seeking direct admission in the second year (lateral entry) must have a Diploma (10+2+1) OR a B. Sc degree with 50% minimum aggregate marks from any institution approved by AICTE and recognized by Govt. Of Maharashtra. (45% for candidates belonging to ST/SC and other backward social classes). 

 SSGBCOET B. Tech selection criteria  

• The selection of candidates in SSGBCOET is made based on norms and guidelines prescribed by DTE, Maharashtra.
• Candidates have to undertake MHT CET or JEE Main Entrance Exam and are required to score well as equivalent to the Sant Gadge Baba College B Tech cut off norms.
• The seat allocation and the merit list will be made based on the percentile obtained by the students. 
• Based on JEE Main or MHT CET results, applicants have to apply for CAP. The CAP registration is entirely online.
• Candidates have to visit the DTE, Maharashtra Website to fill the CAP application form.
• CAP (Centralized admission process) concludes certain steps: Registration as a primary step, Displaying Merit List by Competent Authority, Document Verification, Option filling round, and at last Seat allotment procedure takes place.

SSGBCOET M. Tech Degree Program 

Sri Sant Gadge Baba College offers five M. Tech specializations. Admission to the M Tech at SSGB College will be based on the candidate's performance in the entrance test, followed by counselling.

SSGBCOET M. Tech eligibility/selection criteria

Any candidate who wishes to apply for admission in the M. Tech Program at Sri Sant Gadge Baba College must- 

• Pass a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of engineering. In addition, the candidate must score an aggregate of a minimum of 50%  in BE/B Tech or equivalent discipline.
• Candidates of backward class categories and candidates with disabilities will be given a relaxation of 5%.
• To secure admission in M Tech at SSGB College, candidates shall have cleared their GATE Entrance Test with a good score.
• SSGB College follows the admission guidelines set by DTE, Maharashtra. Therefore, candidates have to apply for CAP Counselling based on GATE results.

SSGBCOET  Admission procedure  

Shri Sant Gadge Baba College offers admission to the B Tech and M Tech under Government Quota/Institute level quota/Minority Quota seats. Students wishing to secure admission under government quota must register themselves via CAP for the seat allotment process. Government Quota seats are allotted and regulated as per the schedule of DTE, Mumbai (Maharashtra) from time to time. 

While candidates seeking admission under institute level at Shri Santa Gadge Baba College can follow the steps mentioned below:

• Students can download the application form from the college website. 
• The application form must be submitted with scanned copies of the academic certificate, passport and recent photographs.

• The principal of the institute invites the students for the Institute Level seats available through newspaper publicity.  
• The admission process for the remaining seats after CAP and ILQ will be carried out separately.  
• Merit-based admission is also open; candidates are requested to visit the principal's office for such seats.
