RCPIT B. Tech Degree Program

RC Patel Institute offers admission to the B Tech at the UG level. NAAC accredits RCPIT with an 'A' Grade. B Tech at RCPIT is available in seven disciplines. Furthermore, all the departments have well-furnished laboratories. All the branches of the B. Tech department in R.C Patel Institute of Technology have well-qualified faculty members and staff who can mould the students and assist them in improving the global issues faced by today's society by implementing scientific ideology. 

The intake capacity of each course in the RCPIT B. Tech Degree Program is given below- 

B. Tech Eligibility 

• Any candidate who seeks admission to R.C Patel Institute for B. Tech Degree Program must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum aggregate of 45%  in Mathematics, physics, biology/ chemistry or biotechnology.
• Candidates belonging to reserved categories will have 5% of relaxation SC/ST Category.
• Students who have completed their diploma in any of the above-concerned streams can apply for lateral entry in R.C Patel Institute of Technology B. Tech Degree Program.
   

B. Tech selection criteria

• The students will only be selected if they have passed their MHT – CET/ JEE Main Entrance Tests.
• B Tech First-year and direct second year (lateral entry) admissions will be granted through CAP, following the guidelines of DTE, Maharashtra. 
• After the results announcement, candidates interested in applying through CAP must register online by accessing the official DTE website.
• Once the registration process concludes, the competent authority will release the merit list. The merit list will be prepared based on the Entrance test score and academic marks of 10+2. An equal weightage of 50% is given for each while compiling the merit list.
• To be eligible for the next step in CAP, candidates' names should be mentioned in the merit list.
• The next step is the option filling round, and candidates have to choose RCPIT as their college preference.
• If a student's merit rank is identical to the R C Patel College B Tech cut off norms, then they can secure an admission seat through CAP.
• After that, the seat allotment process will be held. Later, selected students have to visit the campus to report and confirm the seat by paying the stipulated admission fees.

RC Patel Institute Admission Process at Institute level

• If seats remain vacant after the CAP rounds, the admission process will be carried forward separately.
• The college will display the notice pertaining to the availability of seats on its official website.
• Students who wish to secured B Tech admission under the Institute level quota in RC Patel College can apply directly for the college.
• One must download the RCPIT application form by visiting the college's official website.
• The application form must be submitted with scanned copies of the academic certificate, passport, and recent photographs.

You have to submit three passport size photographs and another certificate if you are physically challenged. In addition, students have to give their JEE Main/ MHT-CET.

The mandatory documents include-

• Personal and Parents Aadhar Card 
• TS MHT-CET Entrance ID
• 10th and 12th Marksheet 
• Migration Certificate (If applicable) 

• Transfer Certificate 
• JEE Result Card (If required)
