PREC BE eligibility

Eligibility criteria for BE courses at PREC for Maharashtra state students

• The candidates should be Indian nationals and completed high school in Maharashtra state.
• Must have passed HSC level examination from an education board approved by the Maharashtra state government or equivalent.
• Mathematics and Physics should be the compulsory subjects, and Chemistry/Biology or any vocational or technical subjects.
• Candidates must have scored at least 45% marks in aggregation.
• The minimum aggregate marks for candidates coming from the reserved category should be 40%.
• The applicants must undertake the state-level entrance exam MHT-CET. And should have achieved non-zero marks in MHT-CET.

Eligibility criteria for BE courses at PREC for Non-Maharashtra state students

• The candidates must have a domicile in India.
• Candidates should have passed 10+2 or any HSC level examination from a recognized board of education.
• The compulsory subjects should be Mathematics and Physics, along with any vocational or technical courses.
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% in all subjects.
• The candidates who completed the Diploma can also apply for the BE program at PREC. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in aggregation.
• Candidates must have appeared in the entrance exam JEE-Mains or MHT-CET.
• The applicants should have scored non-zero marks in the entrance exam.
• However, the preference will be given to the candidates who scored non-zero marks in JEE-Mains.

PRCE BE selection criteria

• BDCE offers an entrance exam mode of admission.
• Candidates can appear in the state-level entrance exam MHT-CET or national-level entrance exam JEE-Mains.
• Candidates' selection will be made based on their entrance exam marks.
• Admission to the BE program at PRCE will be carried through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
• The applicants should enroll themselves under CAP counseling. Then, browse the authorized website of DTE, Maharashtra, to fill CAP application form based on their entrance exam results.
• CAP concludes certain phases: Registration, Displaying the merit list, Verification of Documents, Option filling, and seat allotment.
• Once the registration process gets concluded, CAP competent authority will release the merit list. Students whose names are included in the merit list will be eligible to proceed to other rounds.
• The final seat allotment will be done through CAP based on merit rank, available seats, and option preferences.
• For securing a B Tech admission seat in BDCE through CAP, your merit rank must be equal to the PRCE B Tech Cut off scores set by the college administration.

A full-time on-campus ME program is offered at PREC. The program is provided at the postgraduate level in engineering and Technology. PREC offers the master's in Engineering course under 6 different streams.

PREC ME eligibility

For admission in the ME program at PREC, candidates must have passed the following eligibility criteria.

• The candidates should have completed their graduation degree in Engineering and Technology.
• The candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.
• If the candidates from Maharashtra state belong to the reserved category, The relaxation of 5% aggregate marks will be offered to them.
• Candidates must have achieved a valid score in the entrance exam GATE.

PREC ME selection criteria

• Students willing to take admission in the ME program PREC should undertake GATE. It is a common entrance test conducted at the state level.
