Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society founded Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) in Hyderabad in 1980. (SUES). It is affiliated with Osmania University in Hyderabad and is certified by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi. The college aims to contribute to humanity's universal search for development and progress by producing high-quality, ethical, and socially responsible engineers who can tackle the global challenge of creating a contemporary society that is in harmony with nature. MJCET is one of the top five engineering colleges in Hyderabad, and it is also the top Minority Engineering College in Telangana. 

MJCET B Tech Admission

The BE program at MJCET is available in eight streams. A total of 780 students are enrolled in the BE program.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A minimum qualification of 10 + 2 with PCM as optional subjects is required.
  •  OC and BC candidates must have received a 50 percent aggregate in 10 + 2 and a 45 percent in optional subjects.
  • Scheduled Tribe, Reserved Category, Scheduled Caste candidates must have a 45 percent overall score and a 40% score.

Selection Criteria

  • The selection of the students for B Tech admission at MJCET depends on the candidate's performance in the EAMCET score.
  • The Convener EAMCET, Government of Telangana, has given 70% of the seats to our college through Single Window -1.
  • According to Telangana government rules and regulations, the college administration allows 30% of the seats under the management quota.

MJCET ME/M Tech Admission

 MJCET offers the ME program in four streams with an annual intake of 234 seats. The streams are listed below 

  • CAD/CAM
  • Digital Systems
  • Power Electronics Systems
  • Structural Engg
  • Computer Science Engg

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have finished their bachelor's degree in a suitable subject of engineering or technology are eligible to apply for the ME program at MJCET.

Selection Criteria

  • Through the TS PGECET counselling process, seats for ME courses at MJCET will be allocated depending on candidates' performance in the TS PGECET examination.
  • Thus, applicants have to undertake state level entrance exams and are required to secure an eligible rank in PGECET.
  •  College reserves 30% seats under Management Quota. Interested candidates can apply directly by visiting the college campus if they satisfy the eligibility norms.

MJCET Application Process

Candidates must apply in person at the college office. Candidates applying to the ME program, on the other hand, can download the prospects from the website.

Application for BE -

  • Pick up the form at the college office.
  • Fill out the application form completely and return it to the college office. The college will inform the candidate of any further procedures.
  • Candidates who wish to be considered for admission through the management quota should contact the college administration and follow the appropriate procedures.

Application Process for ME-

  • The application is available at the official website
  • Print and complete the application form, then return it to the college office.
  • Following the submission of the application form, more information will be sent.

MJCET will consider TS EAMCET cut-off scores to provide B-Tech admissions. The overall cut-off score is 27656-146444 rank for the given specializations.
