Model Engineering College is Kerala's first self-financing engineering institution established by the Kerala Government in 1989. It is affiliated with a CUSAT. As of 2019, MEC Kochi has been ranked 91st among Top Engineering colleges. Teachers at the MEC are well-known for their innovative methods of teaching. Model Engineering College B Tech Admission
There are four B.Tech streams available at MEC. The minimum mark required to apply is 50% in the 10+2 examination from the Kerala state board or any similar board. In addition, students shall have studied PCM as the main subject.

• Enrollment is dependent on KEAM, a test administered by the Kerala government.
• Entrance exams are used to determine eligibility, and seats are available based on performance in the test.
• Applicants who desire to register for B.Tech could do so either online using the official website on the site or manually by buying the application at the institution.

Model College of Engineering Admission to the M.Tech.

• A total of five M.Tech streams are available at the MEC. To be considered for M Tech admission at MEC, students must have done their UG degree with a minimum qualifying score.
• On a 10-point scale, students should have a minimum of 60% marks in their graduation exams or 6.5 CGPA.
• Applicant selection will be based on a valid GATE score Entrance is only confirmed when all necessary procedures have been completed, such as document verification and payment of appropriate fees.
• Valid GATE scorecards and other essential papers will be required for verification.
