KHIT offers an M. Tech course under four different specializations for which admissions are conducted based on the GATE or AP PGECET exam. The total intake for the M. Tech course provided by KHIT is 60 seats under four different types of specializations.

• Aspirants who have done their BE/B Tech with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for M Tech admission at KHIT.
• In addition, they are required to undertake State level entrance exam, that is, AP PGECET. Also, if students are eligible with a valid GATE score can secure M Tech admission.

With not less than 50% of marks in prescribed group subjects or 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. Or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) equivalent to 5 on a scale of 10.

3) Can we join the B. Tech course through the AIEEE or JEE mains exam?

There is the availability of seats on a merit basis with candidates from other States and union territories who have secured rank at AIEEE (JEE-Main) and secured no less than 45% (40%  for reserved categories) of marks in the prescribed group subjects in the qualifying exam. The seats remaining unfilled from the above shall be filled with eligible candidates on a merit basis following eligibility criteria laid down in rule (4) of G.O.Ms.No.74.
