Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963 as an independent school of business offering courses like MBA in International Business, PGDM, and Executive Master Programs in International Business in management studies. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT Delhi) MBA in International Business Admission Process:

IIFT Delhi offers an MBA program in International Business as a flagship program. The MBA (IB) is being provided under full-time mode also in a part-time way and is for two years.

The minimum eligibility for MBA (IB) admissions in IIFT Delhi is to possess a Bachelor’s degree with a 50% aggregate in any field. Candidates in final year graduation waiting for results or attending the exam are eligible to apply for MBA (IB) only if they provide the qualification proof before the stipulated date.

IIFT Delhi also offers MBA (IB) as a part-time course. The classes will be conducted only on the weekends and are usually designed for working professionals.

Candidates must be a working professionals in the managerial domain and must have at least three years of work experience Dth a Bachelor's degree. A sponsorship letter and NOC from the company should be provided, and there is no age limit for this part-time course.

Candidate’s selection of Candidates will be made based on the academic performance, GD, essay writing, and personal interview, all held at the IIFT Delhi.

IIFT Delhi offers Executive PGDM programs apart from the flagship program. This program is usually for working professionals or self-employed candidatesThisiprogram's eligibility is to have a PG degree or UG degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years work experience or a minimum of 5 years works experience in the managerial domain with a graduation degree. A sponsorship letter and NOC from the company should be provided, and there is no age limit for this part-time course.

Hi! I’m an MBA in international business graduate from IIFT. IIFT known for its variety of MBA courses provided is one of the best colleges to be studying at. Here’s brief information into the admission process for MBA. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Admission eligibility for MBA requires the students to have an aggregate of 50% marks during the graduation degree of at least three years of duration. Candidates in their final year of their graduate course can also apply, provided they submit their degree certificate before October 7th. Since, the college offers both weekend and regular programmes. The weekend program requires the candidates to have a minimum of three year work experience post graduation in managerial position. If the candidate is sponsored by any organization it’s important that they submit a no objection certificate. The application fee is around INR 2000 for general/EWS/OBC and INR 1000 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender.

Through GMAT or any state level or national level entrance exam you could seek IIFT Kolkata admission for MBA. You can either fill the application form online or offline to proceed ahead with the IIFT Kolkata admissions.


I have not given entrance test for IIFT. Can I get direct admission? If yes, then please tell me how

A valid CAT score require to take admission in this college. Please check with college i think in some courses college conducting written test for admission.

  • Admission is based on the basis of Written test, Essay write-up, Group Discussion and Interview.
  • For Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI
  • Admission is on the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT)

Admission in Indian Institute of Foreign Trade:

  • Required entrance examinations are IIFT/GMAT entrance examination.
  • Candidate should have a minimum 50% aggregate in graduation from a recognized university. 
  • IIFT examination will be held mostly in the month of December.

Admission for MBA at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade:

  • Candidate must have completed graduation with minimum 50% aggregate. Candidate must have a valid score in IIFT/GMAT entrance examination.
  • Candidate can apply online/offline with the required details.
  • Admission will be done on the basis of academic credentials, entrance exam and also performance in personal interview.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for the personal interview based on marks obtained in graduation and entrance exam.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade fee:

the total fee will be 1570000 for general and OBC student (SC/ST/PWD fee is 785000) for NRI and foregin student the total fee will be US$ 60,000 and some 55000 some extra charges is there for all the student have to pay this amount. hostel fee is 47,000 3 shearing room and 57 thousend for double occupancy without mess and mess charge is around 5000 per month.

   The admission procedure of IIFT for MBA programme is:-

  • Recognized bachelor’s or graduation degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks
  • 45% for candidate belonging to SC/ST category
  • Appearing in final year of graduation can also apply and they have to submit their document till October
  • No age limit.

For executive PG Diploma in International business On-campus (SEPTEMBER-FEBRUARY),

Duration of the program is one and a half year 

Classes will held on Saturday & Sunday on alternate weeks at IIFT campus.
