IPEC is under the list of 20 top engineering colleges in the AKTU system, so I really had to score top rank to get admission to this college. I really wanted to get a seat in this college, so I was thinking about how I can get admission to Inderprastha Engineering College? I wanted to take admission for B.Tech in mechanical engineering, so my friend told me that Inderprastha Engineering College's cut-off UPSEE was 38644-62094 for the mechanical stream, so I also had to score within this rank to get Inderprastha Engineering College admission for the B.Tech course. Luckily in counseling, I got admission to this college.

After I was graduated with B.Tech, I wanted to take up M.Tech as I was interested in the teaching field. So I filled the application form of UPTU and qualified for GATE as it was mandatory for taking admission to Inderprastha Engineering College in M.Tech. After the GATE exam, I attended the counseling through which I got admissions to Inderprastha Engineering College. But I was very concerned to know how can I get admission to Inderprastha Engineering College, and when my admission was made to this top college, I was too happy. My basic eligibility was to have a minimum 50% aggregate in graduation and GATE score, then apply online by filling the Inderprastha Engineering College application form.

I have recently completed B. Tech under the specialization of Computer Science and Engineering from Inderprastha Engineering College. The College offers B. Tech programs under various other specializations. For admission, the minimum eligibility required is to have passed a 10+2 level examination with relevant subjects from a recognized board of education with at least 75% aggregate marks. Apart from this, the candidate must also appear for entrance examinations like JEE Mains & UPSEE must secure a valid score as per the cut-off marks. 85% of the total seats for the B. Tech course will be filled by the candidates who appeared for the UPSEE entrance examination. The candidates will fill 10% of seats based on JEE Mains exam and whose parents are not domicile of UP.

Hi,

  • Yes you can get admissions with 47% marks as the minimum marks needed is minimum 45% but you must have also taken up UPSEE exam so as to be eligible to take engineering course.
  • A valid UPSEE rank will be taken into consideration for admissions. They also provide admissions through management quota so you can opt to take admissions through management quota seats.
