HR Institute of Technology Course Admission

 Admission to the B Tech is granted depending on an eligible score in JEE Main, followed by a counselling process.

Those with a valid GATE score are also eligible for admission to the M Tech. For admission to the MBA, MCA is contingent on obtaining a valid score in UPSEE.


It's important to note that for each application program, only 15% of the seats are reserved for HR Institute of Technology Management quota candidates. 85% of seats are filled through UPTAC/UPSEE counselling under the government quota. It ensures a fair and transparent admission process for all candidates.

HR Institute of Technology B Tech Admission

HRIT provides a 4-year B.Tech program with specializations in six fields.

  • To be eligible for admission, candidates should have finished their 10+2/HSC or an equivalent examination in the Science stream, which should include Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology.
  • The minimum requirement is an aggregate of 50% marks in these three subjects combined.
  • The selection of candidates for the B.Tech program is carried out through a counselling process conducted by UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) based on their UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) score.
  • It ensures a fair and systematic selection of candidates for the program, considering their performance in the entrance examination.

HR Institute of Technology M Tech Admission

  • To get into M Tech, you need a BE or B.Tech with a grade point average of at least 50% in Computer Science, Information Technology, CSE, CS, IT, or MCA.
  • Must have a B Tech with a grade point average of at least 50% in Electronics and Communication Engineering, etc.
  • Counselling will be used to decide which suitable applicants will be accepted in the end. If you want to get in through the management slot, you must also pass the PG admissions test. Those with a good GATE score don't have to take the written test.

HR Institute of Technology MBA Admission

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • The minimum aggregate marks required may vary, but candidates should generally have at least 50% marks in their Bachelor's degree.
  • Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) may have a lower minimum aggregate percentage, often around 45%.
  • Applicants must have a valid score in a recognized management entrance exam such as CAT/MAT/CMAT or UPCET.
  • Specific entrance exam score requirements may vary yearly, so checking the official admission guidelines is essential.

HRIT offers an MCA program with specific admission criteria. Here are the details for MCA admission at HRIT:

  • Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum duration of three years in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Applicants should have studied Mathematics at either the 10+2 (intermediate) level or during their undergraduate degree.
  • Generally, candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in their qualifying degree.
  • Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) may have a lower minimum aggregate percentage, often around 45%.
  • Interested candidates must complete the application form for HRIT's MCA program. The application form typically includes personal information, academic history, and required documents.
  • Candidates may need to appear for a recognized entrance exam for MCA programs. The specific entrance exam can vary, but candidates must often take the UPCET.
  • Based on UPCET scores, candidates are shortlisted and invited to participate in the UPSEE counselling process. During the counselling sessions, candidates can choose their preferred colleges and courses.

  • UPTAC/UPTU counselling decides who gets into the HRIT for all UG and PG degree programs based on their entrance test score or rank
  • People who want to get into UPTU through Counselling can go to the official website and click on the link for online registration or application.
  • There must be no mistakes in the entry form's information. All applicants must upload scanned images of their picture and signature in the required format.
  • People who apply should print out and keep the confirmation page of their registration for their records. Also, they should write down the Application Form Number in case they need to use it in future writing.
