Maharaja Agrasen University is a private university that was established in 2013. The University's management committee envisions creating an institution that serves the community and provides global education. Therefore MAU Solan is one of the top educational institutions in the country. As for now, the University has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Also, the University is an esteemed member of the Association of Indian Universities under the wing of the HP Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission.

Maharaja Agrasen University Courses are available in various streams, such as  Engineering, Architecture, Arts, Computer Applications, Commerce, Management, Business Administration, and many more. For admission, candidates must take the entrance exams like Jee Mains, GATE/ UGC NET/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ NMAT/ CMAT. Maharaja Agrasen University B. Tech Admission

Maharaja Agrasen University Uttarakhand offers admission to various B. Tech programs based on the scores obtained in the engineering entrance exams. Candidates who wish to get admission into these full-time 4 year programs shall secure at least 50% aggregate marks in class 12th exams with English and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Moreover, the University will finalize the merit list based on the exams such as JEE Mains/ HPCET (HP Common Entrance Test, which HP Technical University conducts).

The Maharaja Agrasen University courses' admission cannot be sought directly, although there is a provision for lateral entry into 2nd year.

Maharaja Agrasen University B. Sc Admission

Like other Maharaja Agrasen University UG courses, admission to the full-time 3 year B. Sc program is based on the merit secured in the higher secondary exams. Eligible applicants must submit valid academic documents and pass their class 12th exams with at least 45% aggregate marks. There are 2 categories of B. Sc programs available.

Maharaja Agrasen University BBA Admission

For admission to full-time 3-year BBA programs, aspirants should pass their qualifying class 12th/ HSC exams with 45% aggregate marks or above. Also, the University will give preference to those students who have pursued their studies in Arts and Commerce streams. There will be a relaxation of 5% marks for students belonging to the reserved categories. Finally, the Maharaja Agrasen University merit list will be drafted after analyzing an applicant's academic score. Shortlisting rounds might also include personal interviews and group discussions.

Maharaja Agrasen University Law Admission

University offers admission to five-year and three-year law programs. In addition, it offers integrated law degrees such as BA LLB and B. Com LLB. Applicants must secure at least 45% aggregate marks in their 12th or HSC exams from a recognized board. Furthermore, the University will finalize the admissions based on merit from these qualifying exams. However, there will be a reasonable preference for candidates who have taken the CLAT UG/ LSAT exams earlier.

Aside from five-year law programs, MAU offers admission to the three-year LLB. Students must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline to apply for Maharaja Agrasen University LLB. Selection of the applicants is based on the student's performance in the last qualifying exam.

Maharaja Agrasen University BCA and B. Com Admission

The full-time 3-year B. Com and B. Com (Hons.) programs can be opted for based on merit obtained in the qualifying examinations conducted by centrally recognized boards. Aspirants must have passed their HSC/ Pre-University exams with 45% marks or above while studying subjects from relevant streams like Commerce stream. The University will prioritize those students who had Economics or Mathematics among the best 5 subjects in class 12th.

For admission to the Maharaja Agrasen University BCA Admission,  Interested applicants must possess the merit of more than 45% aggregate marks in class 12th/ HSC/ Pre-University exams with Mathematics/ Information Technology/ Computer Science as mandatory subjects. However, the selection criteria are based on academic merit in the last qualifying exams.

Maharaja Agrasen University B. Pharma Admission

Like the engineering UG programs, admission to the full-time 4-year B. Pharma program requires either HPCET (conducted by HP University) or any National Medical Entrance Exam such as the NEET UG.

However, the University will accept the applications only if the student has secured 45% aggregate marks or above in class 10+2. Furthermore, given the NEET exam's eligibility criteria, the candidate must possess academic merit in medical subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology ( Botany or Zoology).

Maharaja Agrasen University UG Admission

Aside from the UG mentioned above courses, MAU offers B. Voc, B. Des, and BHMCT. The admission process to all these programs is pretty similar. All interested students must secure at least 45% aggregate marks in their respective Higher Senior Secondary exams. Moreover, some programs might require taking the entrance exams, whereas others will need only the merit.

Maharaja Agrasen University M. Tech Admission

Candidates seeking admission to the prestigious M. Tech programs must have the merit of 50% aggregate marks or above in the qualifying Bachelor's exams. However, there will be a relaxation of 5% marks for the students of reserved categories. Furthermore, preference will be given to the graduates with Bachelor's degrees in B. Tech/ B. Sc/ BCA.

MAU provides admission to full-time 2-year MBA programs. In addition, there is also a provision for Maharaja Agrasen University part-time MBA programs for working professionals. Candidates are expected to have passed their graduation exams from reputed institutions with 50% marks or above. As mentioned before, there will be a relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category students.

MBA admission criteria will require entrance exams such as CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT (For NRI Students). Other than these exams, applicants will be analyzed based on their academic performance in their respective Bachelor's programs. Extracurricular and participating activities will be given marks too.

Maharaja Agrasen University MCA Admission

For admission to the full-time 2-year MCA programs, candidates shall pass their BCA/ B. Sc in Computer Science/ B. Tech in CSE/ IT/ IoT with 50% aggregate marks or above. Although there will be no Maharaja Agrasen University entrance exam, eligible students will be admitted based on their merit in these qualifying exams.

Maharaja Agrasen University PG Admission

MAU provides many popular PG programs like M. Sc, LLM, M. Com, and MTTM. In all these full-time programs, applicants require 50% aggregate marks or above in their respective Bachelor's qualifying exams from reputed colleges. However, students from SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS categories will be given a 5% relaxation.

Maharaja Agrasen University Application Process

MAU accepts applications via both online and offline methods.

Online

1. Candidates shall register by filling out the online form on the University's official website. Then, they will be redirected to the original application form.
2. Then, access the Maharaja Agrasen University online application form and carefully fill out all the sections.
3. Also, attach the required academic and professional ids and documents with the form. In addition, students should mandatorily provide their self-attested mark sheets, certificates, etc.
4. Lastly, pay the required Maharaja Agrasen University application fee via Net Banking/ NEFT/ UPI. This fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
5. After submitting the form, keep a photocopy with yourself for proof.

Offline

1. Suppose any student is willing to apply via offline mode. In that case, they shall prepare a DD of the required application fee and direct it to the Registrar, Maharaja Agrasen University.
2. After the payment is accepted, the University will courier the application form along with the Maharaja Agrasen University prospectus.
3. Candidate shall fill out the form and attach the photocopies of the documents at the earliest.
4. Now, they can send the form back by post.
