Since its inception in 2002, Guru Gobind Singh College of Modern Technology has been one of the primary institutes in Mohali, providing quality education in various engineering disciplines. It is affiliated with Jalandhar's IK Punjab Technical University. The institute offers B.Tech at the undergraduate level. At postgraduate level, M.Tech, MBA, and MCA. The AICTE in New Delhi, India, and the Punjab Government have both approved all technical courses. 100% placement for all qualifying students in all academic programs was achieved. Faculty from prestigious universities, such as NIT/IIM/IIT, are highly educated and experienced. Students from GGS are known to attend schools regularly. A competitive coding community is well-known at the institute. It also has a strong track record for non-technical programs.

  • To be eligible for B.Tech entry, candidates must have completed their 10+2 in the Science stream. Performance in JEE Main examination will be used to assess B.Tech in Guru Gobind Singh College of Modern Technology.
  • The college also offers lateral entry to B.Tech and MCA programs.
  • Candidates who have completed a diploma in Engineering Technology in any division with a minimum of 50% in the aggregate are eligible for lateral entry B.Tech. Admission. Selection will be based on merit.
  • To be considered for M.Tech, you must have a bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in a related discipline. For SC/ST applicants, a 45 percent aggregate in the qualifying exam is needed. The GATE score or rank will be used to make the selection.
  • Candidates for MBA and MCA programs must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university to eligibility criteria. MBA admission is determined by a valid entrance exam CAT/MAT or equivalent score, while MCA admission is determined by merit in the qualifying test.

  • The MET conducted by PTU/GNDU score and cut-off will be used to determine state quota collection. Selection for management quotas would be based on merit.
  • The State quota (Punjab state) is available for 66.6 percent of the seats and the management quota for 33.3 percent. SC/ST applicants seeking admission to the second year of B.Tech receive a 10% discount.
