PDKV offers prospective individuals a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in the fields of Agriculture, Farm Technology, Renewable Energy Sources, and other fields at the postgraduate level. Regular students will complete the M. Tech. program in two years.

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution to be considered for admission to the M.Tech program.
• The Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB), Pune, administers the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to the M.Tech program. Candidates must take the CET and pass it with a minimum CGPA of 5.5 in order to be considered for admission.

Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth offers Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Master of Business and Management (MBM) degrees in Agricultural Sciences, focusing on a variety of specialties. All of the specialized programs have a two-year duration.

Admission to the Postgraduate program is based only on performance in the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board's (MAUEB) Common Entrance Test (CET) of the particular faculty for the current year, as well as the CGPA of the qualifying degree examination.

• Admission to all Postgraduate degrees will be based on a combination of 70 percent marks in the Maharashtra Agriculture University Examination Board's (MAUEB) Common Entrance Test and 30 percent CGPA in graduation, plus any weights.
• 25 percent of seats for all Postgraduate Courses will be filled on an all-India basis through a Common Entrance Examination to be conducted by I.C.A.R., New Delhi (this includes 10% seats over and above the sanctioned intake capacity).
• However, the vacant seats will be filled by the respective University after consideration of the ICAR, New Delhi, waiting list.

The college provides research aspirant candidates with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree focusing on the subjects of Farm Technologies and Agricultural Sciences at the doctorate level.

• The Ph.D program is divided into several specialized areas. The Ph.D. program has a maximum duration of three years.
• Admission to the Ph. D. program is based only on merit in the concerned topic in the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) Ph.D. Common Entrance Test (CET) of respective faculty for the current year, as well as the CGPA of the qualifying postgraduate degree examination.
• Admission to all Ph.D. programs will be based on merit, which will be determined by weighting 70 percent of the CET score and 30 percent of the student's CGPA.
